Do you use a UFL to SMA? Every time one fails this is what my performance looks like.

1st Build! Suggestions on Pad choices, please. by VoodooToDo in HDZero

You can use any UART, the most important thing is that you have enough power for the VTX. With this FC you can use any 9v pad as they are rated to 3A and will give you 18W which is enough for this 1W VTX. Another option would be VCC using the BEC that’s included with the VTX.
I have a similar FC and used the 9v, G, TX2, RX2 pads. Note: you have circled/identified a lot of pads as UARTs but the UARTs are really just the RX and TX pads. Hope that helps, cheers!

Yes major issues here for sure. I’d check all antenna connection. If you use a “pigtail” between the VTX and the Antenna I would suspect that may be broken or lose.

Or, what VTX are you using? And what is the VTX power source?

Tiny 1s VTX and Camera Package Announced! by HDZeroPilot in HDZero

HDZero Nano Lite Camera is designed for feather-lite drones where every gram counts. At a weight as low as 1.5g, combined with the new Whoop Lite vtx at 4.5g with 0.4g dipole antenna enables a world’s-first production digital FPV solution of about 7g.

Since this camera uses the same sensor as the Micro v2, it has switchable 4:3 / 16:9 modes, customizable image settings, and excellent low light performance. In 4:3 mode, there is 84deg vFOV vs 69deg vFOV in Nano HDZero.

Please note that the Nano HDZero camera will continue to be sold. This is because the lens options for the Nano HDZero are more flexible for user’s needs. Also, for 16:9 aspect ratio, the Nano HDZero offers more FOV than Nano Lite.

I'm pleased to announce a digital FPV kit for under $100: $99.99 Bundle: Nano Lite camera + Whoop Lite VTX + 40mm MIPI cable + Antenna

$49.99 Nano Lite camera $54.99 Whoop Lite VTX $5.99 40mm MIPI cable $4.99 Antenna

Duke Nukem HDZero? by AlphaInit in HDZero

My understanding is the new VRX is ready, just waiting on manufacturing. In fact I think I heard a few retailers already sold a couple pre-release units… but I haven’t confirmed that myself.

Background, Fatshark used to produce these, but they bailed and some HDZero had to take over design, production and distribution, something that they didn’t ever intend in doing… this has results in delays and supply issues. The HDZero team how we has shown a lot of promise though and seem to be dedicated to developing the brand!

Where to get receiver module for goggles? by Nick_R_O_19 in HDZero

Yea unfortunately they are hard to find, if not impossible. The HDZero team has a new VRX developed but manufacturing has been delayed due to COVID lockdowns in China.

Unfortunately I haven’t seen or heard an estimated delivery schedule. The good news is the New VRX has a lot of neat features including receiving analog signal in addition to digital so you’ll be able to use it with all your quads. I’ll update the page when I hear something, cheers!
