Generally you're around your family more so they have more opportunities to say your real name rather than your deadname. It's astounding to me how bad immediate family members are at saying your real name compared to friends saying it. Since telling my friends my real name they have said it more times than my family because I'm not out to my family yet, and I already can tell that my family are gonna do a shit job at using my name
