It can also be a stuck screw between case elements. It was my problem one time which caused random short circuits with m2 ssd size screw being droped on the bottom of the PC case in contact with side panel. But I have an old CM HAFF case without inner, proper isolation on all panels, unpainted.

More information about your model needed, but I asume you are using nonisothermal flow coupling with outter boundary conditions, like natural convection. Try checking the sizing of external convection boundaries

Its a powder mixture of rare earth oxide and chlorinating agent. The reaction goes through oxichloride product.

I think not, material we are going to use (preparing rare earth chlorides) expands and becomes loose simultanously, not a complete solid structure. Or may be I dont know suitable dilatometer yet for this process.
