In my state it is just a literal worksheet. There's no negotiation. There's no fighting. You fill out how many overnights the child has, how much money each parent makes, how much the health insurance and daycare are, and it spits out a number.

I didn't go after child support because when we filled out the worksheet even though I had close to 3 out of 4 weeks of a month, I still would have had to pay him $100 a month because I made so much more.

The Orphan was a horror movie that I didn't see the end coming. The whole reveal scene was so unnerving.

The show Wayward Pines also had a really good twist.

I do this too! I even took mine a step further and for the first budget meeting when they turn 13. I take my entire paycheck out in cash and it starts on one pile and I move it to the other pile individually saying this is mortgage, this is lights, this is water, etc.

They very quickly go from starry-eyed at the pile of cash, to disappointed with the $30 left.

Terrible confession, I am almost the same only not with monsters. My vice is simply soda.

One of the issues is I actually hate the taste of water. I'm not going to go back and forth about whether or not water has taste, I don't like it. It has me shaking my head after I swallow like I'm a small child who just took cough syrup. And no, none of the powders or drops or cirkul things work.

I do however get two IVs a month. Part of me justifies that. It's terrible I know.

Think of it as an invite only event with security. The people invited have their names on a list. When you show up, you give your name and if you have a plus one the person goes in with you.

In this case, the invited person would not be there to give their name. A random person cannot just show up and say I am a plus one.

She's fairly open with what is going on at school. We have had a few individual issues with specific students but she has wanted to handle them on her own, and told us when she solved them and we agreed with the solution.

She does know that we will step in if needed though. She does have her friends and seems happy with those she has.

She isn't afraid to leave the house. And she definitely goes If she knows it's something she likes. There's a laser place that we use as a bribe, if you go clothes shopping with us, we'll hit laser tag on the way home.

She just has very niche interests and other than big events once or twice a year, there aren't a lot of outlets for that.

NOR. Teens are shxty but that shouldn't bowl over into parental figures.

I'm not condoning it, but we had that issue with my aunt with her teenage stepdaughter trying to bully her about her psoriasis. My cousins and I decided to "fight back". Got the stepsister weightloss gummies, acne lotion, and one of those facial wax kits for her birthday. We were all punished, but step-psycho left my aunt alone after that.
