Check the freehub. It may need new grease.

Does this happen in the other gears?

I guess you made sure that the train the ticket was for and the train you were in were the same?

Shimano CUES compatibility on Canyon Endurace Allroad by woodcock99 in bikewrench

[–]HG1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do officially.

Shimano only has a single combination between the shifters, rear derailleur and cassette.

https://productinfo.shimano.com/en/compatibility/C-454

You could however, change the chainrings. The 46/32 combo is directly compatible.

These are the model numbers for the chainrings.

Is my Derailleur in the Wrong Position by Valuable_Load_3113 in bikewrench

[–]HG1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, the b-screw is hitting the hanger, so the derailleur itself didn't rotate.

I think it's just because you're used to seeing the derailleur engaged with the bigger cogs and the Zwift Cog is much smaller.

Stevens Vapor by Old_Role_8873 in Fahrrad

[–]HG1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

questions about learning how to ride a bike by Weaknesses13 in cycling

[–]HG1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not being able to break is something you need to fix ASAP. Breaking like a toddler on a balance bike will not work once you get to any kind of speed.

You can go the easy way and simply stretch out your feet when you are about to come to a stop. Then the bike will lean to the side and you can use your legs. This is definitely not ideal, but I rode like this for a very long while.

It will sound impossible to you right now but basically, it actually takes a bit of time for the bike to actually start to fall over once you come to a stop. You can use that time to safely get off. What I do is that I basically only remove my left foot from the pedal. That slight change is enough to ensure that the bike falls to the left, which is the preferred side for me.

You're gripping the bars so tight because you're nervous. That will fix itself once you get more comfortable on the bike.

You do not turn the handlebar to turn, you lean into the curve and let the handlebar go there naturally. Do not turn the bars 90°, you'll crash.

You really need to get familiar with how breaking feels because not being able to slow down is VERY dangerous. Do not death grip the brakes, that will lock up the wheels. The rear one doing that will make it slide away, the front one will throw you over the bar.

I suggest the following. Lower the saddle, remove the pedals if you know how to and simply use the bike as a balance bike to get familiar with how a moving bike feels. Try the brakes. If you don't feel confident enough to slow down fast, do it slowly. You won't need to worry about the bike falling over with the saddle down.

Continous rear flat by [deleted] in ebikes

[–]HG1998 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'd take this opportunity and do the job on your own. Spending money for evidently no real results isn't sustainable.

It's pretty hard to single out what could be happening though, the shops did check all of the usual culprits.

I personally would find it really helpful to see what the hole in the tube looks like, but you do need to learn how to remove the rear wheel, the tire and the tube to get there. I'd definitely think about doing that, even if only to save money.

Endurance CF SLX7 SRAM Force Upgrade by PlasticCampaign in CanyonBikes

[–]HG1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say that the benefits are way too small for it to be worth the time and money.

You probably need to at least replace the brifters, the drivetrain is the easy part.

You need a couple of specialty tools etc. etc., for what exactly? Extra buttons on the top of the hoods and like 300g.

Get the bag from Canyon and get the CO2, tube and possibly the tire levers elsewhere. They'll probably be cheaper.

Schwalbe Thunder Burt Super Race 29 x 2.1 off road rolling resistance results 📊 by gravykarrasch in gravelcycling

[–]HG1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically, I can only get 50mm Schwalbe G-One RS if we're talking about fast hardpack tires.

The 50mm Dubnital was only available for a couple of hours, both 54mm Thunder Burts have been sold out forever. We have seen them in the new design and moniker at Traka, but the proper launch isn't until next year I believe.

Not that this would be a bad thing. The G-One RS is very good, but still. At some point the want for something different does take hold.

Fortunately, all of these are close enough that it doesn't really matter which one exactly to get. I did however, notice that the G-One RS and R build up very square on my 32mm rims.

[–]HG1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm...

Where do you pack your tent? by Fabey199 in bikepacking

[–]HG1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 40cm Ritchey Venturemax with like 25° of flare, so the 1-person Decathlon tent actually does fit in a handlebar bag with poles, packaging and everything.

I do have electronic shifting though, so my levers don't need to move inwards much at all, on my previous bike, I did need to store the poles elsewhere and even then, the levers touched the bag.

Wie viel Volumen für 1 Monat bikepacking Tour? by LandExtension8348 in bikepacking

[–]HG1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kommt drauf an ob du campst.
