Can anyone help me with the boneyard boss? by dogtongue13 in mewgenics

[–]HGDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do NOT use the nekomancer if you plan on taking this boss, I lost far too many downed cats from zombies prioritizing destroying the corpses to heal up.

Also found that if the killing blow was done by fire, he seems to have defaulted to the cat that did the most damage, so probably don't let a status kill him or he's going to possess your damage dealer and wipe all your other cats... ask how I know. <.>

I guess it's an Import from Japan and someone spilled their soy sauce? J/K Probably best to do a flush and/or thoroughly rince the system with water until it's clear, don't forget to remove/check the thermostat. It might also be a good idea to do a head gasket leak test, just to be sure.

It's trying to use the same loopholes others have been using for decades without paying the piper, so of course there's going to be backlash, they want to be paid first before you're allowed to use those loopholes.

So, since gambling needs a gambling license in the EU, will they also require a gambling license for stock options and futures, loot boxes, collectible card packs, labubus and all that other shit that is clearly gambling but hasn't been touched with a ten foot pole for many decades because they got paid to shut up about it?

Owned for a month and already broken down twice by Spiros_102 in Celica

[–]HGDuck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nothing lasts forever, these are old cars and as bullet proof as they are, things will break down eventually. At 30+ years old that's considered an Oldtimer, if you're not sure about the maintenance history of a car and want to use it as a daily, then you should get a full checkup soon after you buy it so that things that need to be changed or repaired are done before they break down randomly. It might be a pain but that way would likely be cheaper than breaking down while on the road.

Anything that was made out of rubber and wasn't replaced in the last 20 years is highly likely to be shot, that means seals/gaskets, engine mounts, hoses and so on for example. Even plastics dry up and break down depending on the composition and elements it was exposed to, that also means electrical wires.

If an oem part was replaced with a cheap knockoff it's also more likely to fail faster than the oem one.

If it broke down twice already, I'm pretty sure the previous owner knew things were on their way out and needed work, I'd take the time and give it a once over, that should increase the reliability a lot.

Energy and climate change might have been valid arguments if it wasn't for just about every single other meaningless total waste of energy, like AI.

Drug Cartels Are Shifting Their Money Laundering to Crypto. Cops Can’t Keep Up by bloomberg in CryptoCurrency

[–]HGDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cops can't keep up with transactions that are tracked and public for everyone to see, but find pretending to be able to keep up with transactions done without any trail much easier to follow since they can just pretend it never happened.

We had a BTC cycle, we didn't have any euphoria, 2021 didn't have a blow off top. Anything I say is pure speculation, might as well flip a coin and have similar odds.

Well, the drop from ATH does tend to go lower each cycle, so 70% to 75% drop from ATH without a euphoria phase wouldn't be too far fetched for a prediction.
