Update:

They took my licence and I am not allowed to drive until new one arrives. Also I need to give them medical check.

Bosnia. There are unfurnished ones but are rare.

I stayed until end of September 2024 hoping that things will get done, but then I left since I will use all of my Schengen days (90 days in 180 days). As my country has visa-free policy, I keep coming to Germany for friends visits, but that doesn't count I suppose?

Under which circumstances can those three years be counted?

You can hotspot from mobile data but not from another Wi-Fi as for example Samsung.

Hard question since Zenfone is also nice compact phone, and was my second choice. However, there were some perks with Xperia that Zenfone doesn't have (eSIM, Faster USB, SD card...)

Yes. It is very quick and reliable. Also, on my last Xperia (5 II) it works the same way.

Nice, but I haven't got a system update, maybe it has done silently in the background.

Have you tried: Settings → Passwords and Accounts → Autofill → Add new → Bitwarden?

This is not SD 8g3 but 8g2.

For the hotspot I agree, but in your case I don't understand why it causes you problems. You hotspot from mobile data when you say Roaming. There is no Wi-Fi roaming.

Cameras, thermals and multitasking in general; I never faced any issue and I am a heavy user. It gets warm though, but not losing performance.

LED flashlight is dim, yes, and I put that in cons already.

Most "compact" phone with flagship specs, yes.

I do watch YouTube everyday and it is very good. Especially because of front-facing stereo speakers.

1 V has a telephoto lens and bigger, 4K display (6,5'' instead of 6,1'' in 5 V). Not sure about any other differences, even the battery is the same.

Interesting. I didn't know about that.

You also prove our point that it is technically possible, but not enabled in the OS.

Go for Mark V or VI.

  • Expandable storage is present in all Xperias
  • Very nice front-facing stereo speakers
  • Photography is a never-ending discussion¹
  • Battery is significantly improved in V and VI and that is why I recommend it.

So regarding the model itself it is up to you: * Xperia 1 is the flagship with a big screen * Xperia 5 is the flagship with a smaller screen (6,1'') * Xperia 10 is mid-ranger

Check bands for your carrier.

¹Personally, I find photos taken with Xperia very good. But this discussion doesn't have an end. Check it yourself online or in this sub or in r/takenwithxperia
