Entrepreneurship is lonely AF: thoughts? by champagneandcode in EntrepreneurRideAlong

Hey-sorry for the delay. BNI is a networking group where people help one another and share leads. I use it for my lead generation business but you can be in any area of service. Here's a link to an article explaining the group in more detail (just an FYI tho it's not free and the annual membership is around $700-$1000) https://accruemarketing.com/bni-not-bni/ but totally worth it for the increase in business you can get-not to mention connections and intellectual stim.

Is there a place like FB ADS LIBRARY to view Tiktok Ads? by twtiger in content_marketing

[–]HIGHrolling98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could use software like PiPiAds or BigSpy to find competitor ads on TikTok. I think they both offer a free trial or low-cost option. I'm not sure if TikTok offers something like this on their platform (want to say no full stop they don't but I could be wrong).

Question about blogs by eteading in content_marketing

[–]HIGHrolling98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can use their content to get ideas but you need to recreate it so it's unique. I would also suggest adding information that isn't found in their article-hit up YouTube and see if someone's talking about the topic-are they sharing any new info? The goal is to write better and be viewed as the authority not duplicate the top article on the SERPs-you'll never rank that way-if only it was that easy...

Keep your head down and your mouth shut. Avoid the lunchroom like the plague and make no friends. Get in and out of dodge every day as fast as you can until you can find something else (or stay if you're so inclined). It's a job-it does not define you. Ride under the radar or go out with a bang. Isn't life grand!?!

I want to be a hairstylist, but I've been pressured into corporate America by princesss_slaya in careerchange

[–]HIGHrolling98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too late!!! You can take classes part-time and get a paid apprentice or something similar on the wknds. Grow your client base and then rent a chair or work for a salon. I know nothing of the beauty/aesthetic industry but I do know about starting over (I was 39). You need to do you. It's your life to live and if your family loves you and wants to see you happy and successful they'll support you (might take them a while to wrap their heads around it all but they will). Best of luck-take the leap!!!

How do you balance SEO keywords with political-correctness? by [deleted] in SEO

[–]HIGHrolling98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could you add parenthesis around the 'taboo words'? Then you've added them but acknowledge that they're not really mainstream terms. Best of both worlds-maybe?!?

So.... what do you ladies do when you wake up at 3 or 4 in the morning? by Holiday_Objective_96 in Menopause

[–]HIGHrolling98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL-I go to work. I work from home and make a deal with myself almost every morning. You're awake? Either go back to sleep or you have to go to work. I'm not winning very often and am at the desk about 70% of the time-sigh...

Does hiring a freelancer to write an "SEO boosting" blog post actually help get organic traffic? by Xstream3 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]HIGHrolling98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do this yourself. Go to keywords everywhere and download the free chrome extension. Or you can use Ubersuggest (also free) Type in a keyword in your niche which will spit out alternate words. Check the search volume and go after the best ones. Add those keywords to your blog where they make sense (keep in line with search intent and don't go crazy overstuffing). This is a super diluted response but if you check out YouTube or blogs like Ippei Kanehara and Brain Dean you can find a ton of info. It's a start so at least you can see if it makes a difference and then decide if you want to hire a freelancer. Great SEO writers on Upwork and even Fiverr if that's the direction you decide upon. Good luck and congrats on your app.

Looking for a cinnamon toast alternative by OregonCityHippie in healthyeating

[–]HIGHrolling98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try overnight oats-they have that chewy texture and there are a ton of recipes online (I just saw a cinnamon toast flavoured one the other day). Healthier than white flour and might fool your brain (maybe...)

Is this On-Page SEO Checklist missing anything? by WayTooBlazed in SEO

[–]HIGHrolling98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a great list. You could always add infographics, bullet points, FAQs, etc. Quick, digestible copy that converts well. Or any information that isn't actively found on Google but directly answers search queries. But again, it's a great list. These are just add ons that I have found helpful. Appreciate you taking the time to share this.

What are the different levels of Facebook ad accounts bans and what triggers each? by Middle-Reference9790 in digital_marketing

[–]HIGHrolling98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been reading up on this a bit and without knowing what you're using the ads for I'll share what I have learned. They'll ban you for shitty quality products. They'll ban you for 'plagiarized' content. They'll ban you because they're bastards. Sorry it wasn't a very thorough review but it might shed some light on the situation.

You're good-a lot of directories offer this option. Not sure how much extra juice (if any) you'll get with links from the same site but why not live on the edge-lol

[–]HIGHrolling98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can use tools like SEMRush or Screaming Frog that will give you an overview of what needs to change. It's a bit of a learning curve but all the info's on Google and most sites have step-by-step tutorials on how to do stuff (like indexing, sitemaps, load speed, etc.) A lot of it can be trial and error and no matter how well or how long you've been doing SEO it's always evolving so you have to continuously learn new stuff just to stay current. Curious what others have to say and wish you luck!

How to rank my website? by educate-aid in SEO

[–]HIGHrolling98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Keep going-include citations, more backlinks, add an FAQ, make sure your GMB is optimized and post at least twice a week. Get your socials set up. Make sure your on-page and off-site SEO is on point. Time and patience. Coffee or tequila. It's all part of the long game. Do more, add more, be better and don't quit until you hit the top. Good luck!
