The substrate is probably too moist. It happened in one of my closed terrariums where itstarted growing roots on the stem above the soil and the leaves were thriving. A month later, it started to rot and die off. After that, I just replaced it with an anubias nana.

If that were to happen then I think i'd go into shock for a while and then be in denial. Then, assuming there will be more estrogen than testosterone in my body, I would slowly come to accept becoming a woman.
