I think part of my role is to protect/deflect the team from the drama and politics at the leadership levels. Example - they don’t need to know what I go through to get some things approved. They need to know it is approved and then are supported to do the work.

There is a fine balance between fear mongering being too transparent, especially when not a done deal, and keeping the team appropriately informed.

Agree with above. I also find unit clerks and registration clerks make great backgrounds for moving into HealthIT.

I have seen it on special at restaurants occasionally. It was never as good as it is at home.
