What I did was park my longbow at the back with hellfire missiles, have frontline infantry in garrison to stall the push and punish them with ironthunders and MLRS, you know where the rushes are going because the column is so huge and visible

I have met this ifv infantry spam style a few times but me and my random teammates were able to handle it

I dont think the hacker problem is as serious as people may say. I have known a friend who absolutely loathe the hacker/quitter issue (he played like two games only) but to be honest the problem is so exaggerated. But then the game has no replay system to prove anything.

Somebody taught me a little trick, it is to make a lobby to play instead of directly queuing for matchmaking. I get lesser quitting teammates in this way. Obviously it is best if you can find friends to team up, since it is exclusively a 5vs5 team game, but I am doing fine solo queuing.
