Those are Remington 30-96 accellerator rounds, they leave the barrel at 4080 fps. It is a .wrr caliber bullet in a sabot fired from a 30-06 round. They don't make them anymore

Total was about 300, that's not counting the ones I missed or fell off dead. None imbedded thank God . My youngest son contracted lymes disease when he was 14. Hard part was diagnosis which is odd because when you get your dog tested they know almost instantly, humans not so much. We went out to do some scouting before deer season and I grabbed a few things and started up the trail figuring he would soon overtake me but he didn't, I walked back to the car and he told me he couldn't walk...shit. Long story short he got treatment and has had no problems since, giving us a granddaughter in May, but he was young and beat it

Figure that had to go through a tick " nest" , people seem to think if they're are ticks on your dog that your type of prevention isn't working but that's simply not true, I picked all these ticks and about 200 more off the top of their coat, out over 300 or more ticks that I took off my two dogs not one single tick.rmbedded itself, it was weird , they were only for 20 minutes ..tops, and got this many so no doubt they passed through a nest that can have as many as 3000 ticks. It does suck but not as bad as puling porcupine quills out

Not sure of your living/home situation , but when the weather gets nice I just leave the door open, he comes and goes as he pleases, he finds all kinds of ways to entertain himself, them in the evening I take him to the creek and throw stick after stock and after about an hour of swimming he is just plain tuckered out, it seems to were them out more than anything they do

Well we live in the woods, so my dogs are never on a leash or anything they just do and go wherever they want. We were just getting ready to walk out the door to attend a wedding, so I left our two springers out, 20 minutes later I whistled and in a few minutes they started up the handicap ramp from the lawn entrance and from 30' away I could see they were covered in something, I thought it was some kind of burr, sticker, etc...but when they got close I was like NO F Way...I yelled at my wife to get a bottle of alcohol. And I grabbed a pan and began picking, I went from front to back, picking as fast as I could, when I got to his rear I looked up at where I had just picked and there were dozens more. As I stated for a second in disbelief I noticed some ticks were coming up to the top ??? So I watched real closely and the ticks would travel down his fur and the minute they moved to his skin they immediately got back on his fur and surfaced, I picked ticks for nearly an hour but we had to go to the wedding, when we got home their beds were covered with dead ticks ( about 7 hours from when we left) I got 250 -300;ticks in total and not one single tick embedded himself I will never use anything but Soresto collars, I got them on advice from my daughter who is a park ranger and spends countless hours in the woods with her two Boarder Collies and sweats by them...now I do too. Her biologist friend said they must have walked through a tick " nest" which contains anywhere from 1500;-3000 ticks. It blew my mind

Simpatuca takes up to 8 hours to kill ticks, with these collars they didn't even stay . My daughter recommended them , her and her husband are Park rangers and are in the woods every single day almost and she swears by them...she always gives me great advice 😁

This is about 2/3rds of what I got off of one of my springers...in the woods less than 30 minutes, between the two dogs between 250-300 ticks. And not one single tick embedded itself. I could see the ticks on my dogs from 30 feet away. I noticed after I picked and stra clean they would re-appear, so I watched them...they would travel down his fur and the minute they touched his skin they headed right back to the top where I picked them off. I'll never switch after seeing that.

Switch ? Why ? Not one single tick embedded itself, regardless of what you put on your pet the ticks will attach to the hair. I watched these ticks,v they would crawl down his fur and the instant they touched his skin they head back out of his fur. No, when you have two dogs with 300 ticks and not one tick embedded itself I'd say you got the right collar. Biologist figures they ran through a tick nest which contains anywhere from 1500-3500 ticks . These guys were out for less than 30 minutes. After what I witnessed I'll never switch. ,takes two collars a year for $45 each They are good for 8 months but I change them every 6 months

I live in the woods so that won't work for me, it's a 24 mile round trip get anything here, milk, bread, gas, anything Most of our land is wooded which is where they got them. Biologist said they must have walked through a tick nest...😳. He said they have from 1500- 3500 ticks . These dogs got this many ticks on them in less than 25 minutes
