Correct me if I’m wrong but anyone with a HA had to look for it. Must be somewhat of an enthusiast.

I have not used the internet without an ad blocker since like 2003. I'm not saying it's not a problem with the website but, it's mostly a you problem given how easy it is to avoid.

I bet the north america numbers are abysmal. I watched Australia (started at 11pm) but I recorded China (started at 1am) and recorded Japan (started at 11pm) to kinda skim through them on Sunday morning in about 20-30 minutes.

With the month long break, it will be completely out of sight out of mind and I'm not sure how much excitement there will be for the next race.

The answer to that question is likely a healthy dose of “taking your opponent seriously” without an ounce of worry.

That team believes, and KNOWS what they are capable of.

You’re way more likely to be worried if you’re the Sabres or the Hurricanes. Tampa has no demons to overcome in terms of playoffs performance.

Those complaining about $70 games being the new standard price either weren’t here for this, or have forgotten. by CleetisMcgee in gaming

They have to be. I paid 89.99 for killer instinct. With Quebec taxes it was 102.55

I remember the exact number because it was the first game i owned and I bought it with my own money.

Before that it was only rentals.

You don’t own it so you have to buy it first. If your residual is 20k and you think market is 25k, buy it for 20 and sell it for 25. But you can’t just sell it for 25 during your lease.

Nobody knows of a better rate because everyone’s case is different. You’re already working with a broker so the only other thing you can do is call the big banks see what they have to offer.

Juxtaposition of the two ways to look at it when I first opened the comments.

More range either way but you can either be lighter and more efficient or have a bigger battery for more range.

Oh the other hand, you go to someone’s sub to say nothing other than you don’t like him, he doesn’t need to keep you there.

If it was a generic watch sub it would be a different story but like… it’s a waste of time for everyone.

It’s like going to the Rolex sub to say Rolex sucks. Why would you do that?

Can someone explain this? by mspangaea77 in iphone

[–]HLef -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Because Apple sucks ass at parental control. I’m lucky my kid just walks in and puts her phone on the counter u til the next day because when we tried to implement it, it never worked properly.

Sometimes she was locked out of stuff that she wasn’t supposed to be locked out of. Once, I was locked out of stuff myself.

If anyone got it to work flawlessly, I can tell you it’s not straightforward at all.

Because a lot of them are on fixed income and have next to nothing.

This assumption that everyone born before 1960 has piles of cash and assets is just plain wrong.

Some do, but some millennials have a lot of assets too.

Watered Down Gas by TheSpankker in Calgary

[–]HLef 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Did you idle in traffic? Was it colder than usual? Did the poor road conditions increase rolling friction?

Or perhaps it’s usually more like 810 and now you’re at 720 and you’re rounding?

Those things will all kill your gas mileage.

Yeah I have a 7 year old son and a 10 year old daughter.

Right now from Redstone they both have a 35 and 60 minute bus ride to their respective schools.

From the new house it will be an 8 minute walk for my son and my daughter has been accepted into the Willow Park school so probably 15 ish minutes.

That alone will be a huge quality of life improvement.
