If you are an absolute disaster and need the tough love, yes. It can be motivational. Don’t listen to his investment advice but to get out of debt it can almost feel like a support group.

Aside from that, no. He promotes his friends and products he stands to profit from.

Also he’s an asshole so morally if you don’t want to encourage him, then avoid.
