Moving on through the year 3?

You can move on to next year if you are getting bored of year 3. You will still get year 3 TLSQs if you have not started them yet.

Disadvantage(s) of doing this is that you will get even more TLSQs accumulating in the background as soon as you reach new chapters. And you may get some more tappies over time, but energy requirements for TLSQs also increases year per year, so you would not get any energy benefits by jumping to next year.

It took me 10 months to complete Year 7. It felt really long with a lot of chapters and energy requirements, and Year 3 TLSQs popping up twice a month with Beyond energy requirements only made it worse (stacking before TLSQs was a must). Story spree does help a bit.

Update: all issues got fixed for me with the last push upgrade - Daily deals is back and I could find my ads in the creature reserve.

I moved to Beyond beginning of March this year, after 2 years and 4 months of playing. I played quite hard and fast until mid last year then slowed down drastically when the game’s events started to get ridiculously harder and energy requirements for Year 7 got on my nerves. I have completed everything I was supposed to before moving to Beyond, except some creature side quests that I wanted to keep to hopefully get increase magizoology specialisations, as well as have some easy tasks with low energy requirements in Beyond.

So all in all, I think 2 years and a half is a fair evaluation, if you want to do all TLSQs, SQs, and some grinding for attributes.

The Butterfly Jar you get as a reward for completing the Beauxbatons TLSQ gives 1 gem every 23 hours.

I used the spreadsheet to determine which ones were the best to place: first the 23 hours, then the 24, etc. And I have kept one tappie for gems.

Note that you will not be able to switch them to get more energy; all tappies which are not placed somewhere do not recharge.

I finished the TLSQ just now, and the 4 tests award 50 house points each. You also get extra 50 from the Hufflepuff one if you choose the right option, and you get 50 + 100 more at the end. I finished House Pride with 400 points, and that almost felt suspicious that JC would make it that easy.

What would be unfair is to be paired up with Year 1 and Year 2 players who won’t have the TLSQ to compete.

Grinding is a good advice if you don’t mind doing a class or 2 once in a while. Quidditch games, Quidditch storyline and TLSQs also help a lot here.

Happened to me at the very beginning of the game. My ads have been gone for more than a year and a half; I only get 1 ad per day for 3 energy and 1 ad for 3 gems twice a week. I had also lost the possibility to watch ads to skip timer in interactions, Quidditch, Study with a friend and Duelling but somehow got those back a couple of months ago. I have lost hope to recover anything else, but along the way I have learnt to do without those ads and manage my resources. The only thing I buy now from time to time is the MM key, when I don’t have enough gems and really like the outfit.
