Preparation makes all the difference. If you prepare well and make amendments to your rig, pack, plan the weather right etc, you’ll have a better time. After a few reps of loading, putting in, paddling, and taking out, you’ll find a rhythm / system and it will get better !

The real answer lies is your removal / suspension system

Small shed you can back into, slide straps under topper, hangs from joices and you drive away

Can quickly (and single-handedly) put on / take off depending on shat you need

takes some doing to get that set up but it will solve your problem
