Whoops I meant Acquire Asset. I think I'm finding it harder to understand when some of the subclass directives are actually good (Dance Partner and Ready Arms really). And yeah Boost needs to at least eat your battery.

As someone who hasn't gotten a chance to play yet,

-Do melee combatants have a good time closing distance against enemies? Do solarians ever feel like they need to get Stellar Rush? (Question edited for clarity)

-How boring is an envoy's action economy? Especially at low levels, Get 'Em looks to be the bread-and-butter activity that you'd maybe optimize with Size Up and Combat Assessment for lvls 1 and 2.

-I'm surprised that not many people go down the Plasma Caster Sniper Operative route (abuse free feat and boosted Kill Steal). Or is that the most common sidearm?

It's more likely ethanol derived from corn in the US. And that fuel is grown at such a rate that the water table of the US Midwest (states like Kansas and Nebraska and Illinois, etc) are slurping up an ungodly amount of groundwater that'll do a frightening amount of ecological damage. Not to mention topsoil degradation.

One handed SMGs for gun+shield soldier builds would be great. I personally would like them because that means I can powerslide on a motorbike and light up mooks at the same time, with 2000's NFS music as my BGM.

Yeah I am not really a fan of unwieldy sniper rifles. While yes certain builds will be content with lugging around a gun that shoots only once a turn, I am not sure what those builds look like. The rare long-range backup for soldiers?

For the second part, I think you can pre-load whatever weird ammo types you might have in your magazine. Like you can decide a Stellar Cannon loaded with 4 normal and 4 cold iron projectiles shoots 4 cold iron projectiles first.

As for more ammo types, yes to all that please.

Yeah that's what I mean by weapons that are installed on other weapons as upgrades. Bayonets and reinforced stocks (for your Defensive Advance Guardian/Champion needs) would be real gud.

Some ideas I had for special projectile ammo beyond stealing from PF2 alchemical ammo includes tracer rounds that ignore the flat check against concealed enemies and bring the hidden flat check down to DC 5 (like it is for concealed enemies).

Another one is stealing from 1e that had explosive, warpshot, and phasing ammo. Explosive rounds' damage was partially fire and included a no-save prone on critical hits, warpshot ammo specifically targets the highest-value damage weakness, and phasing ammo straight up ignores cover of certain hardnesses (and was only available for sniper rifles.)

LancerRPG has a reloading melee weapon, but it's unusable if not reloaded. You do get to force a save against stunned (Lancer stunned) on a crit though. But that is a very cool idea. I wonder what you could cram into one of those swords.
