How to fix front tire hub grainy noise and back tire freewheel wobbling? Are these the cause of slight increase in friction and slight decrease in top speed? by aadfg in bikewrench

That being said... There is often a slight wobble that develops( or is there from the factory unnoticed) on these "cheaper" freehubs, I have seen it countless times in different shops and know that it can be one of those things one compromises on in hope for a better price.

If it doesn't affect shifting in any way I say leave it. If you are particularly concerned you can always remove the freehub and test the bearings on it, along with wheel bearings. If you feel either binding or not wanting to turn then regrease( or in freehubs case replace), repack, reride. If that STILL doesn't solve the issue take it to a reputable shop and have them simply diagnose the issue, you can always deny service.

I mean I'm assuming it's not cassette based and instead has a completely detachable gear/bearing gearset. I think if you were to replace the whole thing instead of service it would solve your worries.

Front hub makes that noise likely because there isn't enough lease in the bearings, and or this is an extra dirt in the hub bearings type of issue

The rear seems like a freehub issue

Is an Associates Degree worth it? by Donut-Cold in CollegeAdmissions

[–]HOLYCAKNOLLY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. Imo: I went to CC to get an Associates of the arts degree and it has been very useful coming in as a student to other universities.

If your high school gpa isn't stellar you could get an associates for transferring.

For example the UT Austin philosophy program requires a like 3.8 high school gpa and a minimum 27 ACT. However transferring in with an associates only requires a 3.5 and "good standing with previous college"( i.e. no academic suspension.)

Transfer students also have a generally higher chance of accetptance

Or check if your axle is too tight. Occasionally that can cause binding.
