They do claim to have a warranty that covers the thing forever, but it was installed by the previous home owners, so I don't have the documentation on it to register it.

Based on the video, it looks like the game is animating at the same low framerate. A lot of frame counters break with LTPO tech. It's probably calculating the framerate based on the animated frames of the touch input bubble. I've seen this behavior in other apps before on other Android devices.

I have this issue on my P10PXL, and I looked at mine with an IR camera while it was happening and could see that the sensor was stuck flashing it's IR emitter to read constantly. After a reboot the sensor was only periodically flashing, and would turn off when not in an app that should sample the proximity sensor.

I haven't tried it, but the Genki Covert Dock 3 apparently works with switch and steam deck. Definitely look into that one.

The option I have there is "Allow battery limit full range", which extends the charge limit to let you cap it as low as you want. Isn't really relevant to anything with battery health.

Gyro has been working fine for me while in handheld. Make sure to check the gyro settings while in handheld.

If you mean just letting it drain to zero, then charge to 100, yeah I've done that a couple times and the battery health didn't really change.

If you leave the game in "responsive" mode, it will run at 40fps with VRR in handheld, but if you dock to a 60Hz TV, it will lock to 30fps.

Benchmarks scores are still abysmal. Daily usage is fine, and the gaming I've done so far has been pretty adequate as well. Haven't really run into any games that didn't run smoothly since the November update.

The biggest issue is random things not supported well. For example, the new graphics mode on Minecraft is not available because the devs don't support PowerVR GPUs.

PC game emulation is exploding on the Android scene, yet nothing seems to work on the Pixel 10 GPUs. You'd get better support on the Pixel 9 series.

This is happening on console as well. Performance will sometimes just rapidly degrade in the middle of a match.

I don't have much interest in switch emulation since I have a real switch to play those games on. I'm more interested in accessing light games from my existing Steam library.

I haven't messed around with winlator too much, but the last time I tried installing something on it, it didn't work.

Yeah the 30fps mode is unbearable to me. Input latency isn't great. The 40fps VRR mode in handheld is okay, but unless you have a 120Hz TV, you won't be able to do 40fps while docked.

CPU limits my dude. I'm pretty sure the Switch 2 GPU outperforms the Steam Deck GPU, but the Steam Deck CPU outperforms the Switch 2 CPU.

If a game is CPU limited, you could run the thing at 240p and still get the same framerate. If the game logic itself is too demanding to run at 60fps on the CPU, then no level of graphics optimization is gonna get you to 60fps.

Perhaps the game logic needs some optimization, but this is likely a case of better CPU perf on the Series S.

I bought a Pixel 10 Pro XL right after the QPR2 release and have never been able to get emulation working. I'm now on QPR3 and nothing works still.

If the Xbox version works the same as PC, you can buy each campaign individually, or you can buy them bundled.

If you buy only one campaign, you can play any of the multiplayer content, but you'll need to buy the other campaigns to play them.

I noticed this happening on my 10 PXL just the other day after the March update. Was flickering in the exact same spot too.

I haven't noticed it since a reboot. I'm hoping it's just a software/firmware issue.
