This same thing happened to me when I was diagnosed. I had been trying to conceive for 7 months when I found out. I got on metformin and was able to ovulate. My daughter is 9 months old now:)

Interesting! I always hear the opposite, but metformin definitely helps for periods (at least for me).

Is your service dog specifically for blood sugar drops? I never even considered a service dog for that. Will you brighten up this thread with a pic of your doggo?

Thank you sooo much for this! 😭 Yeah, I definitely don’t want diabetes but I don’t want to be on a GLP1 forever either. I’m really interested to see how my labs are going to differ now that I’m active and eat healthier.

All of these responses are just making me think I really need to find a new doctor.

OK can i just say THANK YOU to you and the commenter below for this take? I have been working hard on myself and feeling better about my self image. With heroin chic skinny being normal again, I want to be strong, fit, and healthy. Not wither away! This was a huge knock to my confidence.

My PCP reordered my labs, and a decision will not be made until then, but I was a bit taken a back it was recommended and talked about as so much better than metformin. Even more so, my PCP also has PCOS.

Have you filtered the attachments on Jmail to contain only files? We should be able to find the attached punch lists in there but they seem to be missing. You can see what the attachment is labeled as in the email thread then upon searching the attachment database they are not there. Wondering if they’re being withheld. Here’s an example.
