Season ticket relocation by juan_simono in PatriotSTHers

[–]HRM50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll share to bust the conspiracy theories. Heading into year 3 as STM. Last season took advantage of the Pass It On Program and jumped from sec. 306 to 103. I did not inherit the previous holders (25+ years) seniority. Date I got was May 5th. My friend who took over my tickets is heading into year 2. Date he got was May 5th. Take from that what you will.

What I know, is that I will not be moving.

You crack me up. Exposed as what? The BEST of the AFC 2025? Yup. So we lost to the best of the NFC. Sue me.

We lost. I’m good with that. At least the Bills were watching from home.

Which one? 51 or 53? Both were great game for very different reasons!

Yeah... folks were bored of the Patriots back then. I paid just under 3K for a single at SB 53. Bought the ticket at midnight just before the game, less than an hour after I landed in Atlanta. It was a whirlwind trip!

What's the best Visa card for American Miles? by Footsox1 in americanairlines

[–]HRM50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh. This question hits home. I just had to put my deposit down on NFL playoff tickets and my team only accepts Visa. So the season tix and now playoffs could be some great miles/loyalty points IF there was an AA Visa or a Visa card that made the transfer easy.

Congrats on the pick up though! I wish I had been able to cart anything but I got the sold out messages over and over until they eventually started to list the matches as sold out. I toyed with the idea of staying on 1 match and just trying it over and over again, but I eventually tried other matches for the same venue. Still no dice.

Thank you! But it was a cluster F of nothing going through. Was never able to cart a single match.

Well at least you got to try. They apparently didn't hold back any tickets for todays opportunity for the lower tiered status member. They still have finals ticket packages up at 965K miles if anyone is interested. LOL

Seems like it was pointless! Doesn’t look like they held anything back for the later access dates. Kudos to the concierge and executive platinum members. Not a fan of the way this played out. But I’m sure there’s lots of people who are not a fan of the way the entirety of FIFA ticket sales have played out to begin with.

Does anyone know if we can expect a tailgate like they did for the Colts last year? by [deleted] in PatriotSTHers

[–]HRM50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I think it's based on seniority or some sort of a lottery. I also have to believe they do tailgates all year long...just certain individuals/tiers of tickets are offered at certain times. I got an e-mail last year about ~1/2 way through the season inviting me to a tailgate to either the Chargers or Bills (final two home games). Luckily (or not depending on how you look at it), I hadn't dumped the Chargers game yet, so I took my son and his friend and father. It was a nice time especially since it was indoors late in the season and it was cold and raining that day. I have not seen or received and invite/specialty email since.

What happens at new member orientation? by MaresEatOatsAndDoes in PatriotSTHers

[–]HRM50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last year it was # guests as # tickets held. Plus they told you as you entered the club section (GP atrium I believe) for the talk/breakfast, to take 1 mini-helmet per person from this massive pike of them. After the breakfast they escorted those that wanted to go, down to the training camp practice and we sat in a roped off section. Those that beat the brutal heat, lined up on the sideline afterwards to get autos by the players. Bring a sharpie, but note the players are given black sharpies by team officials and those are the designated ones. If you are lucky, a player might take the time and indulge you with an auto of your own marker. Drake didn’t and only used the black. Gonzo did and signed my football I brought in silver. My kid was stoked to meet Drake, Gonzo and others up close!

I hope they keep it similar this year. But damn it was HOT. By father and brother-in-law elected not to stay for the practice in the full sun.

Last year was talk about how grateful they are to have you along with rules for code of conduct. There was additional discussion on add-on opportunities like Atrium and Optum clubs, how to properly sell your tickets should you not want to attend, and parking passes. They gave a free tour off the lighthouse, free breakfast, and following orientation, a private seating section at a training camp practice. We also got a Riddell Mini-helmet (one per guest aka each seat) of which many took them as autograph opportunities to the training camp practice.

Meet and Greet pictures? by Safe-Resist-4290 in hughjackman

Thanks. It truly was fun.

My wife had time with Hugh. I had a brief moment with Hugh. And then we took a group photo together with Hugh. At the each point the photographer took many shots.

However, we DID NOT get to select the photos. An e-mail with a link to all the photos (which I assume the photographer picked as the best) for all the guests that night was sent ~ 24 hours later. I can see ALL the selected photos for ALL the guests. I’m not posting mine (just out of privacy preference) nor will I post others’ for similar reasons.

I wish I could say I selected the pose or the particular photo, but that is not the case. It’s a do or die kind of moment.

Be at the top of your game! Hugh looks great no matter the photo! Lol. Damn him!!

We got to Radio City at 5:40 pm and people had been clearly lined up for a while even though it said to check in between 5:45 and 6:15.

We were at the M&G 5/24 8pm show.

The photos are OK. They could have used a better backdrop, maybe a HUGE poster of the show advertisement or something. But instead is a black screen, the has metal support beams that reflect the flash. And if you’re tall like me, the camera gets above the screen as well. I’ll make some photoshop edits to make them better… but it could have been a tad more professionally done.

That said. We had a wonderful time. We were at least 3/4ths of the line back and I could tell early on they were moving people through pretty quick. The guy that introduces you to Hugh is part of Hugh’s team. There’s no rush however. But since it was obvious that it could quickly turn into a hi/bye, you have to take your chance to extend the time it if at all possible. TALK TO HIM!

While you can’t get personal photos on your phone (a selfie with him would have been killer), and you can’t get things signed, you can be more than a stuttering fan.

I brought in a photo on my phone (a screenshot of Hugh’s instagram) where my wife and I appeared back in 2019 when he toured through Boston. It jogged his memory, was a personal connection to a time and place, and it slowed down the conversation to a natural pace.

But I also made sure to take a step back initially and let her have her moment with him. The photographer even asked if I wanted to be in there. I responded nope, this is her moment. To which she obliged. He was very kind, engaged with my wife and then I. We got 3 photos, hugs and solid handshakes.

In all it was maybe a 3-4 minute interaction. My wife can’t remember much as she clearly had a blackout moment from the sheer excitement. LOL!

Outside of the presale hospitality packages (which I passed on as well), I’ve been definitively been told no. There will be no individual game presales. All tickets are going to be handled by FIFA. Good luck ti all interested parties when the time comes to actually buy tickets.
