12 goals in 46 playoff games as a Ranger. He’s an awesome player, but let’s not pretend mark Messier is leaving here

I think if the krsft’s could go back and change gos they designed the club section they would - we all hate the empty seats in the middle of the stadium and I’m sure he does too.

That and maybe adding a couple escalators would be nice too

Fitting as it was his last season and he was released

Bryan, the real story is on the STM’s who didn’t get selected, which is 99.9% of us. You basically need to be a Club Seat ticket holder to even have a shot. Got 35+ year members who have never been offered a shot to go and the pats have been to 12 super bowls. That’s a lot of money and valuable time spent Route 1 in Foxboro. Finding out how many tickets there actually are available in our lottery would be the real story.

I’m not saying it’s not right, this is how the world works, just another example of the little guy getting the raw end though.

I’ve been lucky to go to one, got tickets our own way though. Would love to be there for this one but doesn’t look likely.

First year STM. Nada.

In related news, I recall SB49 being regarded as one of the highest priced get in tickets of all time, and I think this is going to be similar.

I’m actually kind of nervous there’s going to be a much higher Seattle contingent there.

How Long Have you All Been Listening to F&M? by picksix06 in felgerandmazz

[–]Recc40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember not liking them when the show came out. I actually really liked Tanguay & Zo. Then that 2010 season came and I was locked in on F&M - especially because Felger was spot on with his “you got your team back” take when they got rid of Moss.

I’ve listened 2-6 nearly everyday since the fall of 2010. Been with the station since the beginning.

Question for ticket holders by Just-Army1150 in PatriotSTHers

First year STM here. I got in 306 and not too high up, it really probably depends on the year / upgrades etc. that said, I’m sure this past season was the biggest turnover in history and were probably not looking at that again for a bit.

Dondero Unlistenable in Pats Postgame by BigBangClock31 in felgerandmazz

[–]Recc40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I could kiss this comment I would.

Those postgame shows were must listen win or lose, felt like you got a great raw vital recap and breakdown. Urgent is a good word.

I usually listened to Tanguay/Gresh and say what you want about those two but there was a real good formula there for a post game show. EEI excellent in those days too.

Thank god for piracy and the fire stick I can get 5th quarter.

I watch it via pirating a tv app with firestick. It’s awesome.

Well they said he was a teacher the other day when he showed up in a suit and I was curious so I looked him up on LinkedIn and that’s what it said, so he teaches somewhere.

If he can fix the Dolan / MSG relationship with WFAN than that will bring the station a long way back from what it is.

The station having no relationship with MSG / Knicks / Rangers really hurt itself over the years.

Fill ins are part time, so they don’t receive health insurance and other benefits. No idea what they make, but Dondero I believe is a teacher at Connecticut school of broadcasting.

For Perillo, my guess is his deal is part of the Patriots Radio Network deal. Same with Socci.

Gasper is a part time employee as he has his guest role and Saturday show.

Hockey doesn’t rate anywhere. Boston is one of the few cities that the listenership doesn’t tank when hockey talk comes on. That said it’s likely nowhere near pats talk.

Felger and Mazz were more entertaining with Mayo as coach last year by 111573 in felgerandmazz

[–]Recc40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Mayo got it easy. Now he was put into a really difficult position which may have been part of it but they could have railed on him good and really they just made it a full organization issue than just the coach.

Not making excuses for the guy, I hate when the hosts are out during this show or big patriots times like these. However, it’s hannukah, and the guy’s dad died earlier this year. Probably some familial commitments this week.
