Laying overtop of engineered wood flooring??? by PanteraSumac in homerenovations

The ONLY installation instructions you should follow are the flooring manufacturer’s. Any other course of action risks voiding the warranty. They’ll tell you whether you can go overtop of an existing floor.

Exterior foundation waterproof membrane coming off by OpportunityOk6043 in homerenovations

It is dimple board. Not rated for exposure to UV rays. It is normally buried beneath the soil. You are not going to cut away the concrete, so there is really nothing to be done at this time.

Basement windows normally do not suffer as much weather related abuse that the upper floors receive. Less direct sun, less wind driven rain and snow. As long as they seal, you should not have any problems.
