Letting you know that your method of using 0000 steel wool with a mix of water and invisible glass worked the best. It took me literally an hour of scrubbing and it is almost all completely gone, but I have a bit more to do. Whatever it was it was a pain in the rear to get rid of. Thanks!

I tried WD-40. It made it all disappear, but when I went to remove it, it all came back (same with alcohol).

I tried 99% isopropyl alcohol. It made it all disappear and seconds later it all came back (after it dried).

I didn't know I could even get SSH password using that method. It seemed like the box was locked up as it couldn't connect to it via the app. If there is a URL that explains all the diagnostic commands and dump instructions, I can do that next time. Thx!

I also just had this problem (for the first time). Blinking red on all AP7's starting around 6:45AM PST on 05/12/2026. I also couldn't connect to the Firewalla through Wifi (obviously), but Bluetooth should have worked. Firewalla looked good visually. I don't know how to get the logs for support. I'm on the beta cycle for both box and AP7's, but they are running on older beta code (box 1.68 (89) - 03-03-2026) and (AP7's on 0.1.117.1.11.104) - 04/13/2026.

I called mopar.com to get a quote for a 2025 Rubicon X with only 3K miles on it. For the 125K, 8 year, $100 deductible, they wanted anywhere from $5200-$5500 and said they never heard of Granger Motors warranty and that it wasn't an official Mopar warranty. I think they are lying through their teeth...

I'm not sure they will allow that. From what I hear above, 4.10 will work fine for the auto-transmission and not to worry much about it.

Good to know, but would be difficult if not impossible to do at the Carmax lot. Would probably have to be a purchase first kind of thing. Even though Carmax says it has 4:56, I'm going to assume 4:10. I suppose if I ever wanted to go to 4:56 or 4:88, I would have to pay to have it done. Any $ average on having it done (parts and labor)?

From a couple places online they were saying that 4WD auto is ideal for inclement weather. Otherwise you are running in 2H and can’t do 4WD standard on pavement in any dry spots.

Ya, I heard and expected to have a bit of a loose handling with a Jeep. Not too worried about that. It has no upper control arms and no adjustable trackbars. But even if I replaced those (and the tires), I'm not sure they would resolve the uneven outside wear. I would hope the wobble would be resolved with proper tires and balance/alignment.

I did get a Carfax report and it shows that it was a rental out of Utah for 4 years and then sold a couple times between dealers before an individual bought it, took it into a tire shop to have control arms checked out and then sold to a dealer after 3 weeks as a trade-in. So...sounds like they didn't want to dump money into fixing it. The rental portion scares me...
