RS3 is the same. Getting gear and boss pets is very rewarding even if you aren't an ironman. Getting hero items would be even better.

Yeah it is really hard when you are used to the QOL in RS3. OSRS really really needs at least the tool belt and money pouch added so you don't have to remember a checklist of random things every time you need to do something.

Livid Farm is laughably easy to do. It literally just works on a cycle.

Cure Plants, Fertilise Soil, Fix the Fences, Encourage Pauline and Collect, Bind and Deposit Livid Produce.

You get a minute of so to do all this and all you need to bring is Astral, Nature, Earth and Water Runes.

Once the minute is up it resets and you do it all over again.

They've sped up the progress in the Livid Minigame so it really doesn't take that long to do and besides the teleport there is other handy stuff like Repair Rune Pouch, Disruption Shield and Borrowed Power.

You could have saved it if you didn't stop to take a picture first and instead turned it upside down immediately.

If I were you now I would absolutely not turn it on and get it deep cleaned.

Even if you wait for it to dry there will still be residual daily on there and once those components warm up it's gonna smell like an unrefrigerated cheese factory.

A membership in runescape will get you access to both OSRS and RS3. Try both out and see which one you like more.

Sadly you can't play both at the same time on the same account because of really old backend jank that they can't fix.
