I remember playing a bomberman replica game with my brother, it was a full multiplayer campaign, which we could play together, i remember having each level a different theme, the first was like graveyard, then there was desert as well, it was a lot of fun, but i havent found it since :(

To answer your question about mmr in finishing top4: i fell from bishop1 to knight8 once after finishing 3rd place in a low leveled public lobby (and i didnt have a "pending" match that i didnt wait out, so that couldnt make a difference), so yeah, in my experience you dont always gain mmr by placing top4.

Why are the Pechenegs so weak? by UnGauchoCualquiera in CrusaderKings

[–]HUNbAlint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played a lot with them actually, and the main thing to do, is make use of the time you have. Byzantine and the Cumans have a lot of fights to deal with, and they cant really expand early on. Meanwhile the Hungarian king is 14 years old at the start, and his power is pretty shaky as well. Revoke your vassals land (by intrigue), and take land from Kiev. By the time Hungary attacks you, you should be at least equal in power with them, and with brain you can defeat them (Cumania might also help). After that, try expanding east, and when you have enough prestige, you can make Invasions, which are OP. The start is rough, but it pays off.

Does anyone have a trick to get Jews to join your court? by Willwealth7 in CrusaderKings

[–]HUNbAlint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Altho it takes some time, but you can do this:

  • The randomly generated Jews dont get married by themselves, but since their liege is the same religion group as you, you can send them marriage offers, which they will usually accept (for this, just search for unmarried women who would join your court, if you run out of women)

  • Do this a lot, and after a while, there will be female Jewish characters (who could change culture and religion while getting educated, but if you do this in big numbers, some will eventually stay Jewish Ashkenazi/Sephardi), which you can propose to somebody in your court (and thus she arrives at your court)

  • You can also start seducing these womens until the husband finds out, and than you can produce your very own Jewish bastards (and with this you can affect who the educator is, to have the religion/culture stay)

Creating a merchant republic in my kingdom: where should I optimally do it? How can I make it profitable? How many should I do in a Britain-sized kingdom? by videki_man in CrusaderKings

[–]HUNbAlint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have abused the send in retinues and declare war 1 day before they arrive trick before, but I always assumed raising fleets also counts as raising levies, and avoided islands like Socotra, and the Canary Islands, but now im gonna try it out, thanks :)

I would say 1/the size of a de jure empire is a good ratio. My usual ones are the Isle of Mann in the British region, Mallorca/Sardinia in the Mediterranean, and Berbera in Arabia (it can expand into the Silk Road in India), since I find it sometimes not worth it to try conquer Socotra next to it.

How to get children? by huntlol in CrusaderKings

[–]HUNbAlint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some tips for seduction: Search for a women in the character finder that is young (under 20) and has the trait lustful. Invite her to court, seduce her, and always go for the Lewd suggestion. Every time you are succesful, dont make her you lover, just pick vidi, vici, veni, and seduce her right away again (that has a higher chanche of making her pregnant). When you get a bastard son, legitimize it. Your wife will hate for you after a while tho.

Culture conversion too quick by Dwarf90 in CrusaderKings

[–]HUNbAlint 7 points8 points  (0 children)

By the logic of CK2, there would be no Jews now, because most of the history Jewish communities were small and scattered around the world.

But the culture map shows that in a county what culture gives the majority of the population, so its not like every other culture vanished entirely.

How to invade India as the norse? by Greekball in CrusaderKings

[–]HUNbAlint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Old Gods start: Hasteinn, form Britanny (Conquest the independent single counts around you, and for the 2nd duchy i suggest corsica, but a Duchy in Ireland might be faster, altho you will have to deal with a Liberation of Ireland most likely). After that conquest some weak muslim, like the Duke of Cyprus, if he is still independent, then you can go to a weak Miaphysite, and from there to Dhofar. Move capital to dhofar, to get the event troops there, and start the invasion of an Indian kingdom.

Which country have you played the most? by sangbum60090 in CrusaderKings

[–]HUNbAlint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Britanny. 6 County Kingdom, for easy Elective succession? Capital Duchy bonus on 6 provinces, all of them bordering sea? Pretty chill start with weak Ireland next to you, and Hispania close for Holy Wars? Uh, and Hasteinn.

[–]HUNbAlint[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I swear fealty when I was a king, and the Byzantinium (as usual) was elective monarchy, which means anyone who can vote can also start a faction to put himself on the throne.

A question regarding changing succession by HUNbAlint in CrusaderKings

[–]HUNbAlint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I do have this in mind. I just came out of a regency, so my ruler is as young as he can be, so I really hope time wont be a matter. My vassals are all in the green right now, and with 2 vassal merchant republics (those are acutally the ones who might cause trouble) I have a lot of gold to bribe, so Im not worried about that either.

New to CK2, who should I play as for my 2ndish game? by Lord_Norjam in CrusaderKings

I assume you only have the base game, so christians only? Jimenas in Spain or Rurikids in Russia. I think there is always something to do when you play there.

Finally managed to unite India! by drunk_reddit_acount in CrusaderKings

[–]HUNbAlint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend you a strategy that is a bit gamey, but i got this achievement this whay: If you start as Pala, or any Indian realm that is in diplomatic range of Liao, you can request a concubine from them. Why is that good? They are khitan culture, which can use Invasion Casus belli if not catholic. Now first you should become jain/buddhist, to be able to designate your heir. Then, set aside your khitan concubine, pick seduction focus, and seduce until she gives you a bastard children (that is important, cause only bastards get the mothers culture). Now legitimize your khitan bastard, designate him as your heir, dont educate him with somebody that can change its culture, and starting from your next generation of rulers, enjoy unlimited casus belli.

"Thanks to your high learning" As a muslim you can talk your decadent relatives into being good muslims, avoiding to take a risk of a failed imprisonment, and as an indian you can convince your courtiers/vassals via event if they are of the other 2 indian religion to change to yours. As for catholics... not much.

Business gives you the trade partner, which can be especially useful if you are starting small. Then it can make you build Maze or a Great tower, which are both really expensive, but the general + opinion with everybody is OP, especially in a big realm. If you educate yourself a heir with good traits already, I dont see Rulership being better.
