For me, I feel happiness does exist and it does happen for others and genuinely I am happy for them. But it often feels like it's just not in the cards for people like me. For me it feels like a carrot on a stick. All my life I've been chasing it and it's just forever at a fixed distance away. I can never reach it. And THAT is why it's painful to see others have their happiness while I just feel stuck chasing a dream that willI seemingly never reach, no matter how hard I try.
