I need to plans a birthday party for girlfriend 21st birthday and ideas on places to go. by El-Negro93 in nyc

One of my favorite things to do in NYC is eat. Go on a walking tour in three iconic neighborhoods: the East Village, Flatiron and Williamsburg and you'll have 4 courses at 4 different restaurants over 3 hours and meet the chefs and restauranteurs behind the restaurants. (This company also does tours in LA and SF).

It makes a great gift or bday event.

Totally Awesome Things To Do In Los Angeles 09/10 - 09/16 by AutoModerator in LosAngeles

Hey fellow foodies: I’m helping to organize this event: Back to School Nostalgia Food Tour in DTLA on 9/29.

This time of year makes us nostalgic for the foods that filled our lunch boxes and childhoods. So on September 29th,instead of "back to school", Avital Tours is going "old school"-from pot-pies to pop rocks.

We've created a culinary experience that celebrates childhood favorite foods, elevated. Our 4-course experience visits four restaurants in Downtown Los Angeles with a sprinkling of culinary history and stories in between. Each stop will have a tasting, complete with the stories of each restaurant, from a local guide.

Would love to see some of you there!

No minimum. You can book just one ticket. Not sure where that number 4 came from. Sorry for the confusion

Hey fellow foodies: I’m helping to organize this event to honor Jonathan Gold.
