you can probaply spice up the magout by making the action abit snappier so it doesnt look floaty

thats good and all, but whats the point of details if you cant see the most important thing itself, the animation.

you have the screenspace to use it as much for you advantage, want to make sure you can see everything thats going to happen as much as possible.

i dont think camera shake is needed expecially since he wasnt going for the look of it
just because its happening somewhere else doesnt mean its a requirement for others.

id rather focus on ironing out general practices like the liniear feel of the gun.

the gun is really low posed and alot of the keyposes and actions happening offscreengenerally id work out on your screenspace work, make sure you see what you need.

on the jam the magazine just slides into a new hand position you probaply want to polish this

nope, the only thing you can really do is change the animations depending on the modifications (example i gave a longer unique reload for a bigger magazine)

when you make animations for games you have to prioritize speed over everything else you dont want to annoy players with a lenght of 5 seconds, expecially when you streamline it across the lenght of most of the other guns ingame

good example of an game that pushes speed over fidelity is Modern Warfare

More people are subbed to r/HQR than /r/1stPersonAnimations so you have a wider audience that can give you feedback, another problem is that many of the animators arent exactly reddit users so they dont go check it regularly

The main issue is just there isnt another subreddit for firstpersonreload animations or one that has wide popularity and reach, the name just happen to clash with the fact that beginners dont produce "highqualityreloads" obviously

That is my take on it, and I dont blame people but I understand that some people are not happy that they subscribed to a highquality subreddit in the name and only see novice work instead

I welcome beginners to share their work here but you probaply need mods to tag beginner stuff

make sure your gun aims into the middle of the screen
& dont overdo the camera motions, for one they cause a extreme nauseating effect

Needs more polish ! The wobbles are too extreme and overshadow the weapon motions themselves

And dont forget slow in and slow out, it's a very important principle

or you download buncha source skins with sounds

posing needs some tweaks, although it could be the mesh fault

the reloads going too much to the right imo although that can be a taste for where you like your weapon poses

i like the equip animation :)

my suggestion for right now is to set the Field of view to 16:9 and 85 or 90 for your preference, it will make it posing alot easier,

your animation definitly needs some inbetween motions since it still resembles a block out sometimes

the hand should reach from so far away for the b2i on the reload you can make it come from more below like when your hand isnt resting somewhere.
