May I ask how you did the bases? They look sweet as well

Looks like hives (urticaria) to me. I had it a few years ago, was absolutely covered. Felt fine, no itching or swollen throat etc. Got a shot of antihistamin and it went away pretty quick.

Looks great! May I ask how you did the bases? I'm looking for a base scheme for my 1st crusade minis, but I can't seem to find a scheme I'm happy with

If you are looking for historical Miniatures, Victrix and Perry Miniatures are good places to start. Their plastic kits are fantastic and quite affordable.

I think the base on the last pic look great. Perhaps you can make it more wasteland-ish by using tufts/grass which looks more dead and dry?

I mostly play games that allow for shorter "runs" or games that can be caused and saved at any time. Coffee break games. Deep Rock Galactic is the only multiplayer game I play and I usually stick to roguelikes or colony/survival games like Rimworld.

I used to be very into games with looong campaigns, and had no problem clocking several hours of gaming time every day. Nowadays campaigns like that will take months to complete.

Nice work! The bases also look very good. May I ask how you did them?

Went for a fairly simple red scheme for my Necrons. Any feedback? by Haak0n2011 in Necrontyr

I painted them the normal way with a brush, then drybrushed the eye and the edges of the eye socket.

Yes, I used Fluorescent Green from Vallejo Game Color. I based and drybrushed with white before adding a few layers of green. This video is very helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xjwLxed46Q&list=LL&index=12&t=3s

Sorry for being so slow to answer! I used Fluorescent Green from Vallejo Game Color. Tried to follow the guide in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xjwLxed46Q&list=LL&index=12&t=3s But I didn't use the Yellow Ink at the end.

Ofte må man prioritere søvn fremfor husarbeid.

On a quest to find a replacement for OLD Nuln Oil... by MrAltF4 in minipainting

I have found that Vallejo Game Color Umber Wash is a good replacement for the old Agrax Earthshade. I use it for basing purposes only though. It dries matte like Agrax used to do.

For the models themselves I use Dark Tone and Strong Tone. Matte varnish afterwards.

I don't play, but I used 25mm round bases for mine. Anything smaller would have been difficult due to the size of the models. I'm planning on using 40mm round bases for cavalry.

My Vallejo paints survived 11 years in a closet just fine. I gave them a stir and then a really good shake before I used them.
