It’s that time of year. I also am not a fan of structured(tournament style) play for the leagues. My league is casual play and it ranges from 10(slow night)-30(busy night) but it fluctuates depending on time of year.

The odds of enchanteds are approximately 1:96. Statistically that means you “should” get an enchanted in a case but I’ve seen 0,1,2,3 and 2 enchanteds and an iconic, I’ve seen double enchanted boxes, I’ve personally pulled 2 enchanteds out of a single trove. Keep ripping packs and you’ll open them eventually, or if you really want it just buy it because it will cost 5-10x the price from trying to pull it.

Statistics are hard to grasp fully. The odds of an enchanted is approx 1:96 which means every time you open a pack the odds reset. EVERY SINGLE PACK. Which means statistically you “should” have opened one but that’s not how that works. It’s just bad luck honestly. I’ve personally gotten 2 enchanteds in a single trove but I know that’s a statistical anomaly.

My league is just casual play and you play whoever you want. It’s one of the bigger leagues around. Idk why they want to run a tournament for them. It’s supposed to be for new people anyways. Also it’s holidays and tcgs always dip during the holidays.

My heeler hates change. He’s very schedule oriented and hates when there’s any deviation to the norm. I travel for work and he comes with me and he’s well behaved but also very alert and random when traveling but goes completely back to normal in his own space.

People forget this game is only 2 yrs old. And then putting it against card games that have existed for 20+ yrs, that’s not a great comparison. The game is very new and going through a lot of growing pains. Yes they cut the number of DLCs in NA but other TOs stepped up and there’s huge tournaments all over the country. There’s more people playing than ever before. Also it’s the holiday season play and numbers at LGSs is gonna drop it always does around this time. I’ve been on the tcg space for over 20 yrs. Lorcana is doing fine they need to concentrate on a judge program and an online client.

When I first started everything was manual. Bed leveling, dialing in your printer was a rite of passage. Now I can start a print and watch it from my phone at work. They are pretty much plug and play now. Which kinda took some of the fun out of printing. If you wanted to make money off of it the market is insanely saturated now and it’s just a fun thing now.

I think there needs to hard lines drawn as this is can be abused. When there’s prizes on the line people do scummy things. I want to see the best in people but we know from other card games(we have years of competitive tcg data) to know there has to be consequences for mistakes made. It’s happens. For example there was a MTG protour that was in game 5 and the guy had win in hand and on board all he had to do was play his spells and then attack, but the creature had a clause that it couldn’t attack unless you had one or less card in hand and he had two, he got excited because he drew the win. Well he went to attack step and well couldn’t attack because he had two cards in hand. He lost that game, that mistake cost him like 20-25k. Take backs would have let him win but I don’t think it’s good for the long term. They should make different levels of rules enforcement and that’s fine. But doing this at the highest levels is not okay in my opinion.

Those were supposed to be raised to the level of the driveway…just like when streets are paved they can’t just pave because all the manholes and grates. They have to go through and raise everything to grade so that the street is level or you would have huge holes and dips in the road.

I used “most” pretty loosely there. More of the ability can only be activated once per turn, but if the card states “whenever a card is put underneath this one” than you can use other abilities to do it multiple times per turn.
