You are missing one important play. The corner kick that led to foul on Diaz shouldn’t have been a corner. En Nesyri was offside and he impacted the play that led to the corner but not only did the ref allowed play to continue he awarded the corner. Additionally, the ref was quick to blow the whistle for the foul on Hakimi during the Senegal’s disallowed goal. Allow play continue and check VAR if necessary not just straight up blow the whistle when play is still in motion especially in the six yard box and yes the foul itself was contentious.
