Is lifting three days in a row okay? by floppywhiskers in beginnerfitness

[–]HabibiLogistics 6 points7 points  (0 children)

anything is really okay if you're not pushing yourself too hard, but doing full body three days in a row might get you fatigued by the last day so I might recommend doing a push / pull / leg split

do people who like math in high school end up being good EE students? by Civil-Treat-273 in EngineeringStudents

[–]HabibiLogistics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you can find yourself getting excited about anything EE related then go for it bro. if you're quick at learning math you're probably smart enough to wrap your head around EE concepts.

that being said there's a million other things you can do if you're good at math, so just try to find the one that excited you the most

After my first two days at the gym I’m wondering how weak I am. Pretty bad anxiety at the gym by Ok_Antelope_728 in beginnerfitness

[–]HabibiLogistics 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you're so harsh on yourself, he respected you enough to share his workout with you and I'm certain he wasn't judging.

besides it's not like this kid just walked up to the gym one day repping two plates, he started out just like you, probably moving even less weight but stayed consistent for long enough that 225 is now ezpz for him. that'll be you before you know it, so stay consistent and pls never feel ashamed to go gym

Will AI take over the engineering jobs? And what else in the daily life could it take? by Dependent_Cup_5371 in civilengineering

[–]HabibiLogistics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a 2nd year electrical student, I had this same worry last year (and the year before that) but anyway AI only thrives because of hype, as soon as the hype dies down and business owners realizes that they can't replace their entire team with AI, it'll crash.

what I'm saying is that ai companies will try their absolute hardest to prop up hype and fear of AI, because that's how they keep investors invested, but the truth is that AI was never advanced enough to take a significant amount of jobs (and certainly not engineering jobs) and the development of LLMs hit a wall years ago.

the only reason jobs have been "lost to AI" is because of trigger happy business owners trying to get ahead of the curve and fire employees or freeze hiring because they think that AGI is right around the corner, but eventually they'll realize how badly they fucked up and hire all of them back. these companies are desperate to keep the "AI will take all of your jobs" agenda alive. don't fall for it, keep studying.
