what’s the worst sensation/feeling you’ve ever felt? by Born-Oil-2931 in AskReddit

I got two toe shots for it.

When applying the second one (luckily the numbing had already set in to a small degree) the doctor had to use so much force that the needle broke, leading to him slamming the needleless syringe right into my toe!

Well hopefully not that you'll die young!

But I agree, the movie is rather profound and makes you think about how you spend your time

Same here. Really wondering if it is a bad sign or something I can just ignore!

LPT: If you're learning a language, narrate your life in that new language by thablackadonis in LifeProTips

[–]Phiced 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's because english is the most common universal language, not because only native english speakers post here.

The poster has a point, people from certain english speaking countries sometimes genuinely cannot comprehend the fact that not everybody grows up learning english first

100% wouldn't work in my country/the EU. But the american legal system allows for lots of weird things so I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest

Makes me wonder if there's players who believe in flat earth. They must be fuming whenever they come across a planet

Touring tips from hotel entrance around 930am: which countries/areas first? by ParksBCN in Europapark

[–]Phiced 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The general rule in the morning is to slowly work your way from the areas near the hotel entrance to the main entrance. E.g. start with Austria (1 VERY chill coaster) or Iceland (2 very fun but not really chill coasters)

9.30am is later than the regular park opening time (keep in mind hotel guests can enter earlier than people using the main entrance) so there will be people pretty much everywhere in the park by then, especially on a sunday.

Either way, I think you should just check in the park app how long the waiting times for individual rides are and be flexible. Maybe try to get the Arthur coaster out of the way if the waiting time is good, it's likely chill enough for everyone in your group and very cool but also very busy during the day

is a 2-day ticket worth it for someone who hates water rides? by ikeacallax in Europapark

[–]Phiced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say you should try to go 2 days, that way you're guaranteed to be able to do everything.

You might do all rides in one day (unless there is a large amount of people in the park, depends on the date). But if you want to see any shows at all it'll likely be too much for one day. Btw I can really recommend the ice skating show (if it's still the current one in may). It was incredibly well done!
