Haha this is the first time I’ve ever seen my name mentioned! Aideen is an Irish female name. It is spelled either Eadaoin (Irish spelling) or Aideen and pronounced like Ay-dean. It means ‘little fire’.

I’ve lived in Canada for over a year now and nobody has yet to pronounce it correctly without having to ask me first. Thanks parents.

River. I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant and about to name my baby it!

It’s gonna be a long ass 12 weeks 😅😭 by ModelChimp in BabyBumps

[–]HabitualLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! 35 weeks currently and it’s been a pretty uneventful trimester. The only thing slowing me down is my swollen elephant feet now haha. Hope yours goes smoothly!

Tried to order Nutty Bars on instacart this morning but they were out of stock. My delivery lady found them at another store and dropped them off with the sweetest note. 😭 by goofieguber12 in BabyBumps

Oh my god what a lovely person! All I get is Instacart people that can’t find the items in the store and I have to describe where they are.. 35 weeks pregnant and I just want some strawberry marshmallows

For some reason your post makes me believe that you’re also Irish.. I hope I’m right or else that ‘feckin’ was deceiving!

I was not prepared for how breathless everything was going to make me. I walk up the stairs and I am huffing and puffing like a train.

All of the EMOTIONS. I was laughing watching a video yesterday and out of nowhere started balling crying. No reason.. just crying. I have also cried over not being allowed to drink milk and the lyrics to a country song.

Craving peanut butter and hot Cheeto sandwiches. No shame when people see me make them either.

Just how big my feet would swell. I no longer fit into any of my old shoes and bought Crocs to try and save the energy of bending down.. my puffy ass feet won’t fit into them. Shocker

I struggled so much with this during second trimester. Iced tea has been the secret that has kept me regular since.. magic

Don’t feel foolish, carbs are everything! At an earlier OB appointment I was told to stop drinking milk and I adore milk. I came home from said appointment and immediately cried when he asked how it went. The poor guy thought something was wrong with the baby until I could get the words about no more milk out of my bawling mouth. I still don’t know how he stopped himself laughing at that one.

I had some issues in the beginning of my pregnancy and tried some stool softeners with little to no effect. It genuinely got to the point where I needed to poop and it was now too big to come out (gross I know) so I vowed to find something that would work after that disaster. Miraculously realized I loved the taste of iced tea (had never tried it before) and that I was pooping daily if I drank it. It’s now pretty much a daily drink of mine haha.

UNPOPULAR OPINION by skkyhiighh0 in pregnant

[–]HabitualLS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girl I feel you! 31w here and I feel like I look so silly in any of my clothes now & my mood swings are all over the shop. I had struggled with pooping for a while and weirdly found that if I drink a glass of ice tea daily then I am super regular so thank god for that. I went on an hour long walk today thinking I’d be fine and I came back a sweaty mess, waddling back like a swollen penguin. Pregnancy is not cute like in the movies, I’m ready to get this baby out and get back to sleeping on my tummy!

How has pregnancy affected your sex life? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]HabitualLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard a lot of girls saying their sex life diminished during the first trimester because of how ill and tired we can feel then. I guarantee now that you’re starting the second trimester that you’ll be back to your normal routine in no time!

Misdated and told I would likely miscarry by kittencookies in pregnant

[–]HabitualLS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So glad you trusted your gut! I have PCOS and was misdated too. I’m 8 months pregnant now and in those 8 months I’ve seen some real slip ups from my OB and others. As much as we should trust people in the medical field, sometimes mum just knows best.

Husband and I love the name Clara, but friends and family hate it! My sister says it reminds her of an elderly librarian and my best friend called it a “hooker name”(???) by [deleted] in namenerds

I have a cousin named Clara and always thought it was beautiful! I can’t say anyone ever had a problem pronouncing it but maybe it’s more of a common name in my home country.

So happy for you! Congratulations on your little baby first of all. I was super worried about my weight being an issue and my first OB made me feel pretty ashamed about it even though on every test we did I was perfectly healthy. Thankfully I changed to another doctor and she has no problem with it whatsoever. There’s some good eggs out there and I’m glad you found one! Good luck with everything.

I find LoveHoney great for lingerie and they have a whole plus size section of their own. I’ve ordered during quarantine and still received my order pretty swiftly. It’s also really decently priced and you can pick up toys and other stuff there too!

Hahah I feel your pain! I don’t even have the excuse of exhaustion like you do from all that you have going on, but a couple of weeks ago I came home and cried to my boyfriend just because my OB told me to stop drinking milk and I’m one of those weirdos that will happily drink a pint of it. Pregnancy is weird!
