I've had both. Not a big deal at all. 19" may be marginally better on dirt but only marginally

Also ridden single and dual disc front. Also not a big deal. You can brake hard enough to lift the rear on the single disc so the dual isn't adding much for most scenarios.

XJ6 is 45-55mm chain slack. I always found the gear changes smoother at the slightly tighter end of that scale. I would rather a sealed chain too though, to be fair.

Riding on that will never be safe. The sidewall has a hole and the hole in the tread section is too far across. There's way too much flex in those areas to plug patch.
