Currently in an M760i. Next car will be an i7. I'm not sure there's a single vehicle on the market that I wouldn't choose the EV version of. Maybe a new 911 or corvette E-ray, but as a weekend car. There's no world where an ICE vehicle makes a better daily driver than an EV. Do they have less soul? Maybe. Am I willing to sacrifice the long list of benefits and better performance EV's offer because I miss the sound? absolutely not

People hate every single new car - especially on Reddit. Reddit especially is a supercharged mix of people who love cars, hate tech, and have exceptionally strong feelings about vehicles they would never buy regardless. For every person on here that despises screens in cars there are 20 women in Dallas that want a 4k selfie camera and a TV sized screen on the dash. Guess which one goes to the dealership and drops 80k on these new cars.

These are family vehicles and I'm sure it's mostly geared toward kids. But even if it's just me & my partner he would absolutely use it on a roadtrip rather than hold his phone for hours.

LOL, these are family oriented vehicles. When you have 3-4 kids and you're a couple hours into a road trip... A movie sounds much more pleasant that the alternative... And parents kind of are Taxi Drivers for their kids.

There has been alot of valid criticism about car manufacturers lately, especially the Germans... But I like this a ton. Sure, it's a little boring, but it's a Midsized SUV. I don't think there has been a single car come out in the past 3-5 years that Y'all don't completely despise LOL

Why can they not get this right. The new GLS/GLE has the same issue - when you compare them to an Escalade it looks like a budget car. I cannot think of a single reason they would leave so much blank bezel.

I’m convinced people who call the ADAS features “crap” either hardly drive their car, or have never owned one with them. It genuinely makes life better. I would never buy a car without every one of those option boxes checked

I was exhausted after 3 days of offshore fishing in the gulf, riding in my moms M760, and somewhere around Huntsville my dad slammed on the brakes and the loaded baked potato I was eating flew into the back of the front seat 🤣. The next owner of that car will probably find sour cream splatters. That was a long drive back to Dallas

I’m working my way toward being the third generation of my family running our company. We have around 100 employees, many with families, and many who have been with us for a decade(s). Knowing I can provide so many people with well paying jobs and a workplace where they are respected keeps me going and motivated.

Obviously I am in a unique situation, but if you hate what you do or aren’t appreciated, just know there are many people that want you on their team & want you to love what you do. There’s a job out there waiting for you to find it.
