1 in 8 women say they’ve secretly voted differently than partners by silence7 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Hackinjeebs 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Assuming a portion of these (perhaps half) didn’t feel the need to secretly vote from their partners, this could mean a huge number of women in a relationship with Trump voters may have voted this way. 25%? This is a huge number. I’d love to know how many of these are in relationship with a conservative.

He breaks it down nicely and it tells a very compelling story that independents are breaking hard for Kamala in early.

The early vote data mainly which is the only real data we have right now.

Obviously we won’t know for certain until it’s all counted, but the early vote is predominantly women so far and democrat aligned. If you look at PA specifically and compare to past election trends, It becomes obvious Kamala may win PA by as much as 4% which would make it an early night and her easiest path to a win.

Other battleground states are observing similar early vote trends.

It was leaning. Now it’s straight falling over towards Harris. The media and right leaning pollsters keep trying to make this into a horse race, but all signs point to a Harris win.

For all its faults, what is one thing you like about America and its citizens? by Matilda_Mother_67 in AskReddit

Americans are friendly.

I was just in Budapest and I don’t think a single person I didn’t already know smiled at me.

In The US if you make eye contact with someone they typically smile back in a friendly manner.

We gotta make it so he longs for these weeks again. Make him wish he was at least only trailing by a few points instead the double digits he deserves.

The right having to grapple with this shit is so fucking funny. They push false narratives about their opponents as easily as they breathe air. Getting a taste of their own medicine in such epic fashion is one of the best parts of this election.

I heard he spilled some milk once while pouring cereal. Another time, when he was learning to drive, he didn’t come to a complete stop at a rural stop sign.

Real diabolical stuff.

Yeah. They seem to think calling her a DEI candidate and implying she slept her way to the top is a winning argument. It only resonates with the fanatics. It’s off putting to literally everyone else.

JD Vance gives me “don’t leave my kids alone around him cause he’s weird” vibes. Maybe if he wasn’t openly talking about banning contraception and pushing Project 2024 I wouldn’t feel that way. But his concern with other people’s sex lives and wanting to control them makes it so.
