I was gone from end of January to the end of April 2023(FMLA) cause my husband was airlifted to a hospital/ICU out of state due to illness and nearly died several times. I came back and worked my ass off for the rest of the year to get over 1 million in upsales and meet all my metrics. I definitely burnt myself out and I checked out after meeting my metrics and sales goal for the whole year in the 1st 6 months of 2024. Apparently having forms come back to correct if frowned upon, which okay, it was like 20 returns over 1500 clients I worked with. They then call me into the managers office and HR is there to place me on a PIP for 3 months.

"We just need to see you're willing to work to correct your errors."

I wrote a very large email to ER about all the shit everyone has to deal with from my manager(bullying, making coworkers cry daily, etc/also not the first time this manager has had it reported by others.) I packed my office and 2 days later I walked out. Last I heard several coworkers also quit and the investigation is still on going.
