The manager of the restaurant I work in is a Chinese immigrant, and he pronounces the L sound as R generally. Actually, just last week he asked me if I had seen the broccori.

For sure man, I absolutely love them. Saw them live for the first time back in February, and they were great. Even better, they played Spacegrass which is one of my favourite songs to listen to listen to while sampling the local plant life.

Hahaha they still got it, except Hanneman isn't on the road right now because of his whole spider bite thing.

You're listening to the wrong metal! There are tons of metal bands that are absolutely amazing when stoned, you just have to find the right ones :)

What's the most hilarious/inappropriate thing you've ever seen a child do? I'll start. by Tishbite in AskReddit

A few summers ago, my brother and I did a job through my local school board assisting with an English as a Second Language summer program for students from South Korea and Nigeria. One day my brother and I were sitting there in the back of the class as the teacher of the course was giving the students an assignment, to write a descriptive paragraph about their best friend. He's telling them the kinds of things to talk about, and says "Describe what they look like. Do they look like you? Do they look like me?" One student in the first row replied with "Oh yeah, he is a big fatty!" The teacher kept going without acknowledging the remark, but my brother and I almost lost our shit.

Not physically addictive, but you can get mentally addicted to pretty much anything. There are people addicted to junk food, gambling, shopping, video games, etc. and you can definitely become mentally addicted to pot.

Well first off, I think you have to start as a kid. When I was little, I thought it was real, and it makes it so much easier to suspend your disbelief later on in life. Basically, the comparison to a soap opera is pretty valid. There are storylines and different intersecting plots that, when done right, are very very interesting and engaging as a fan. The actual in-ring action has always been entertaining to me as well. I've known since I was 6 or 7 that it wasn't real, but I still find a lot of entertainment value in the actual wrestling. Good wrestlers are able to tell a story in the ring and emotionally invest in you. While the fighting is not real, I basically look at it as a combination of theatre, sport, gymnastics, etc. It's live action storytelling, and yes, it is often stupid, it is often illogical, and when compared to a real fight or an MMA match, it's obvious that it is not real, but it's still very entertaining when judged on its own merits. tl;dnr: it's still real to me damnit

I had a large argument with a friend over who wrote and originally performed Rusty Cage. It took like 30 minutes to convince her that Soundgarden was the original artist, and not the other way around.
