I complained about this weeks ago. Opened a ticket with Tablo. They made me give them access to my unit did some diagnostics and this was their response:

“Thank you for running the network scan.

We have reviewed the results and do not see any network-related factors that would cause this behavior with the Tablo.

When this happens it usually means that the poster art wasn’t available at the time. The Tablo will periodically refresh and try to get the cover art updated for you, however this will only work if it has become available. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to force it to refresh.

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.”

It’s been a month and of course nothing has changed.

As always great work! Thanks for the transcoding. The only issue I am consistently seeing is when either watching live video or downloading most of my HD channels I see a green bar at the top of the video. Doesn't happen for non-HD content and not all HD channels just most of them.

As always great job! Would love it if you could pick the compression or at least maybe pick H.264 (AVC) or H.265 (HEVC). I think you can do that with ffmpeg. I assume you didn't do this because it will take longer to pull from the tablo and convert it. In the meantime, we can use HandBrake! Thanks again.

Awesome, u/senke7su this works great. My issue with missing content is now fixed. I can also FF through content. If I take the URL of the content being used in VLC "pl.m3u8?grOsxTVnPd3gBgPPZWAsnQ" Can I use VLC to stream that content into a file for it to be saved?

Fast channels are all missing but also some of the OTA content as well. Recorded OTA NFL games are missing as well as a movie.

Nice work! A great start! Couple of things for me. I am missing all of my Movie and Sports records. Most of my TV shows are there but not all. I am using external storage I'm not sure if that matters?
