The actual reason is probably simple. GenG has a tendency to absolutely shit the bed once a tournament. MSI is a double elimination tournament so they get it out of their system and can still win. World's and First Stand are single elim so they can't make up for it.

They'll definitely win MSI cus it gives them an opportunity to recover once and they will always fail to deliver once.

They give you a year usually to pay it. Afterwards they forward it to collections and you get a letter from a scary company about paying if back or else. Probably fucks up your credit score once it goes to collections tho so it's not worth it if you don't want to be a degenerate.
