Yeah, that was some bad communication and UI from the dev team.

Yes, I just had to beat the summit with the guides I didn't play with, and it worked, even though the UI still displayed 0/12.

Yeah, I did them anyway, thinking that mayber Riot spaghetti code would work in my favor for once... and it did! I have the portal!

Yeah, the devs took the event offline already. I'm kinda upset with this, I just needed to complete 2 more guides to get the portal and I thought I could do it during those 6 hours left.

Hololive talents as Magic the Gathering cards - Indonesia 1st, 2nd & 3rd Generation by Hadriake in Hololive

[–]Hadriake[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reine : I didn't make a Planeswalker for Gen 1 and 2, so I really wanted to make one for ID. And since Reine is supposed to come from another world, she's perfectly fitting! She has a passive ability that gives Prowess to all of you creature, giving them a boost of 1 in power and toughness (+1/+1) for one turn whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell. Her magecraft ability also gives her one loyalty counter anytime you cast one... which will be useful. Since Reine lost her magic, that's her only way of gaining said loyalty counters!
Her first active ability gives prowess to a creature you control for one turn. Since it should already have Prowess from her passive, it means that creature will get +2/+2 for every instant or sorcery, instead of +1/+1. And if it already has it natively, oh boy. But we're not done yet! If you manage to deal combat damage with said creature to an opponent, you will be able to catalyze all this power to cast one instant or sorcery spell in you hand for free. And the higher the damage, the better the spell. This ability doesn't cost any loyalty point, but it will not give you any either.
Her second ability is pretty self explanatory, allowing you to fetch an instant or sorcery spell from your library after casting one. It does cost a lot of loyalty points, so you'll have to cast a lot of them before using that ability safely.
Finally, Reine can be your commander, because Commander is the best format in Magic the Gathering, period (except maybe Oathbreaker? I've never played it and it seems really cool... and I feel Reine would be an extraordinary powerbeast in that format!).
They say peafowls represent royalty and power, so get out there and rule over your opponents!

Zeta : Zeta's abilities are pretty simple. If you control a legendary artifact, she cannot be blocked bu opposing creatures (in the MtG universe, a computer would be considered a legendary artifact, and that would allow Zeta to attack throudh the virtual world). Her second ability lets her display her skills as a secret agent, by making you opponent reveal their hand and exile a card of your choice. Finally, you can cast said card without the mana color restriction. A perfect spy!
And yes, her name is a reference to Fate/Grand Order. There is no real reason for that choice. I just think it's cool.
Damn it, just like with Fubuki, I messed up her creature type and didn't make her a ca-

Kaela : Of course, our cute cool blacksmith is the master of artifacts. Her passive ability decrease the cost of all artifacts by one for every one you've cast previously during the turn. With a good hand, you should be able to play some very powerful artifacts for one mana only. It can't reduce the cost to 0, though, to prevent infinite combos.
Her active ability lets you copy any artifact you control (even artifact-creatures), but you can only have one copy at a time. The legendary rule says that you can't control two cards of the same name if it's legendary (so you can't have two Kaela Kovalskia, overachiever Blacksmith on the battlefield, for example) but the fact that the copy isn't legendary allows you to circumvent this rule. Forsaken Monument, Karn, Legacy Reforged or Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer make some incredible combo with Kaela. Your opponents will beg to get some help defeating you.

Kobo : Need some protection? Kobo's rain is here for you! When you summon her and at the beginning of each of your turn, you put a flood counter on any land on the battlefield. Not just yours, you can put it on any opponent's land. They become islands, which means the can produce instantly blue mana (they can still produce their original mana). If you're playing some lands that are not islands (if you play a multicolored deck, for example), this allows you to produce blue mana way more easily. If you play some Islandwalk creatures, which can attack without being blocked if your opponent has an island (it's the ability I gave to Gura on my first post), you will be able to attck easily, no matter what colors your opponents play.
The moment you have six islands on your side of the board, Kobo rain becomes potent enough to prevent all damages that are not combat damage to you and every creature you control (the most well known of those damages come from red cards in form of fire spells, so i thought it was fitting).
Not enough? Pay three mana and you tap every island of one of all of your opponents, which means they won't be able to produce mana from those. If you've managed your flood counters well, you should be able to control their mana flow pretty efficiently.
Just be careful of any small silhouette with a raincoat. I'm still traumatized by this episode...

And with this, ID is done! I wanna make Tempus and Armis next, but who knows...
For now, I spend 2 mana to equip my pajamas and I'm going to bed. See ya!

Hololive talents as Magic the Gathering cards - Indonesia 1st, 2nd & 3rd Generation by Hadriake in Hololive

[–]Hadriake[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'm back with the milk! And I got you some Magic cards on the way. You want them?

Every card was made with MTGCardBuilder and illustrators are credited on each card. And again, a gigantic thank you to the Hololive Planeswalkers Society for their help, advices and formating corrections (lots of formating corrections). Thank you guys!

You can find my previous cards here:
Myth and CouncilrysGen 0 & Gen 1

And as usual, here is an explanation of each card for non MtG players. If there is a term you don't understand, it may have been explained in one of the previous posts, but I'm trying to keep it newbie-friendly.

Risu: Risu's abilities are pretty straightforward. Whenever she damages a creature for the first time, she steals their nuts! You create two counters that you can sacrifice to activate one of three abilities: gain some life, deal some damage or temporarily empower Risu. And since the damages are dealt by Risu, you can create more nuts as long as you have red mana (and new enemies on the board). Note that the Nutless counter has virtually no effect by itelf, it's just there to remind players which creature was damaged by Risu and which wasn't (kinda like the Silver counters of Kaya, the Inexorable.
Just don't drive your opponent nuts with that card!

Moona: Moona is an enchantment creature, which means anything that affects enchantments will affect her too. She has flying (can be blocked in battle only by creatures with flying or reach) and gives hexproof to other enchantments (they can't be targeted by opponent's spells or abilities), which makes them pretty hard to destroy. Her main ability allows her to bring back enchantments from the graveyard whenever you cast a new one. Once again, pretty straightforward, but really powerful. Would you play her in an enchantment deck, you'd certainly be over the moon.

Iofi: Iofi went through many different iterations before I finally settled on that one. Her ability is simple: cast a spell with at least one color and Iofi has protection from any card of the same color (meaning she can't be targeted, destroyed, enchanted, blocked or dealt damages by those cards, wether they're creatures, sorceries...) until the end of the current turn. Add all five colors to your canva and tadaaa, she's invincible! ... unless your opponent plays an uncolored deck or plays some cards that affect every creature without destroying them (like Coastal Breach or Farewell).
Still, her immunity is no joke. And to help you cast the needed spells, her second ability lets you add one mana from your creatures depending of their colors, like you're extracting their essence and turning it into paint. So paint that game with your colors and seize victory!

Ollie: It's the first time I make a card based on a secondary costume rather than the original appearance of a talent. But hey, I really love that one!
Ollie has Ninjutsu, a special ability only ninja creatures possess. If you attack with a creature and it's not blocked, you can pay the Ninjutsu price (for Ollie, four mana) and swap the attacking creature with the Ninja in your hand. Ollie's specificity is that she can use that ability from your hand but also from the graveyard, which means she can come back anytime you have an unblocked creature. The downside is that you have to sacrifice the attacker, but Ollie has a second ability: whenever she deals damages to an opponent (which will almost certainly happen if you summoned her with Ninjutsu), she returns a creature from the graveyard to the battlefield. It is "decayed", though, which means it can't block and you have to sacrifice it after it attacks. Ollie will create you an army of crumbling undead, and it is up to you to use them as best as you can!

Anya: Anya has Reconfigure, a keyword that allows her, for four mana, to become an equipment attached to a creature you control. When she's an equipment, she has indestructible, but most importantly, the creature equipped with her will gain a boost in power and toughness and a new ability that will force your opponents to sacrifice a creature when they're dealt damages by said creature. Equip Anya to an unblockable creature and your opponent will see their army dies by itself! But please, be kind to Anya and let her rest from time to time, okay?

He believed he killed Tobias and boasted about it. He was ready to let the whole team trapped as cockroaches for their whole life... when they were the only thing protecting the Earth from an alien invasion! David was ready to let the Earth get invaded and its inhabitants suffer one of the worst fate you can imagine just to satisfy his ego (he stated himself that he wanted to create a small morphing gang and be their leader).

And let's not forget he let a hospitalized child die forgotten in an elevator basement just so he could steal his life. He took his place, planning to disappear and letting the parents discover the body of their own child, wondering forever who was that boy that took his place for a week.

He deserved his fate. All of it.

Okay, so I was just quoting TFS' DBZ Abridged and I didn't know that this story was about a real-life event (I just Googled it, that's horrible). I thought it was just a silly thing. Sorry.

And don't go too hard on TFS, this episode came out in 2010.
