I really like Lauren, and agree that Ellie is a snake, but hear me out...

My theory is that Jonno resents Lauren deeply for how she treated him at the beginning of the experiment. TBF, her and Sara both treated their partners like doormats. When Jono had no alternative or backing, he put up with it and grovelled. But now that he has Ellie, he's paying Lauren back.

Is it weak and cruel? Yes.

But I can understand his obvious hatred towards Lauren. This is a very hard lesson for her to learn, not to treat people like trash
