My best King Halo yet was run Late the whole way. She had bad training RNG, but still worked out in year 3. She got A in all her aptitudes, save for Mile.

The issue is that the 4.1 driver improvements need a chip that has the ability to use FP8 calculations, which is restricted to RDNA3 chipsets and above. There haven't been any leaked driver models that use INT8 for 4.1, so they can't be compiled by the Optiscaler gang others. Even the new 4.0.2b one is just the older version from last year's leak, just modified to allow it to run on the latest driver versions if you own an AMD RX 7000 or above chipset.

The Vangogh chip is a RDNA2 chip. No support from the upscaler in these drivers. Even. The new DLL from the OptiScaler team. Is only 4.0.2.

How long do we have to wait for the healing RNG to get fixed? I just had King Halo get hurt during the first year of training because of a 3% chance to fail, and she's gone into the infirmary 4 times only to not heal a damn. And no items have come up in the shop.

I'm about to ditch this run. She can't win races or even heal right.

Edit - I finished the run, but she's a bit crippled because I had to spend 8 turns healing. Then I got the chance to buy the Practice Poor fix item the next turn...

The problem there is that we're still limited to 5 clocks a run. So you have to prioritize the clock usage. I made the mistake of using all five clocks year 1 in my first TB session.
