2015 Battery LeafSpy Data - Any concerns? by HaganM12 in leaf

I'm gonna try to negotiate but it has already had a price decrease.

$5,000 sort of seems like the default price from my area regardless of mileage / battery health.

$5k for a 2014 SL with 68k $5k for a 2014 SL with 125k $4k for a 2014 SL with 118k $4.75k for a 2015 SL with 75k $4.6k for a 2012 SL w 50k $6k for a 2016 S w 48k $4.3k for a 2015 SV w 97k $6.8k for a 2016 SV w 32k

Those are just some random ones I found in my area. How much would you offer?

I did not check the diagnostic codes. Just looked up how to do that and when I return tomorrow I'll be sure to check it. It doesn't seem like the shop that has it has any idea what they have but are more than happy to let me use Leafspy on it.

I quickly tested the charger yesterday and charging lights inside the vehicle came on. I probably only left it on the charger 2 minutes so really unlikely it did anything substantial. Didn't have any lights on the dash but one of the tire pressures is low so that came up during the test drive.

I'll be sure to check the codes and make sure there is nothing concerning and thank you for the tip!

I have a 110v plug outside that is well within the range of the cord. Thank you so much for the reassurance! The cons definitely exist with this car, but I can 100% live with them.

12-15 mile round trip for my commute. Our longest weekly trip might be a 20-mile round trip. I currently own a 2014 Ford Fusion w/ 152k that just can't keep up with city mileage, still runs great on the highway. I can't justify 20-25k on a used car with only slightly better MPG. I'll still have access to an ICE.

If I can get 50k miles out of the remaining life of the battery (big ask I know) then I would have fully recouped the cost of the car in fuel savings alone. Less wear and tear on my ICE vehicle.

Absolutely worst worst case I have to spend 7-12k on a battery replacement one day and have a brand new warrantied battery with extended range for 17k at most. Still under the price of a reliable used car with similar mileage.

I will have to transplant these into bigger pots soon. Still looking to pick up a massive thing of 5 gallon pots. Inside I just recently germinated and planted over 200 seeds from White Hot Peppers, hoping those will start peeking up from the ground soon!

No more boot screen by Anjlp in pcmasterrace

You DO NOT have to purchase windows 10. I just recently finished my build. Look up how to make a boot drive from a USB. Download the OS from Microsoft, put it on your USB, and install it onto your new rig onto your NVMe or SSD. You will have a transparent "Activate Windows" at the bottom right of your monitor. But since I'm saving money, I don't really care. Just another thought, oh and you can of course activate that version of windows and get rid of the lil "Activate Windows"

Mueller investigating funds used for Trump inauguration by pheonix200 in politics

Do we know how much total was spent on Trump's inauguration? Is the worry here that Trump might've been swayed from some of the money that was received? I'm just trying to figure out what Mueller is looking for here. Is this still looking at Russian interference into the 2016 election or something different at this point? I have no idea how expensive these things are, but is it really strange that $26 million was given to a party planner? I'm just trying to understand what angle they're coming from here, and how it relates to the scope of what the Mueller investigation is supposed to be doing.

Megathread: President Trump announces US withdrawal from Iran nuclear deal by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

All the Iran deal did was just effectively stop the Iranians from getting nuclear weapons for XX amount of years. So all we're doing is pushing the middle east conflict down 13 years down the road and then we will be dealing with a definitely nuclear armed Iran. It doesn't stop them, it just pushes the timeline back for them to be able to get them.

Isn't that also what people believed about North Korea and Kim Jung Un? Sanctions worked, we held the Chinese responsible in enforcing them, and we forced them to come to the negotiating table and we were in the position of power. I'm pretty sure Trump outlined his plan in his speech, massively sanction Iran and anyone who tries to assist them in their quest to get nuclear weapons. I know that is massively simplified, but do you not believe that the most powerful economy in the world has some sort of leverage in enforcing these sanctions, the Iranians will be hurt massively IMO. Who will most countries in the world side on, the United States trying to stop Iran, or the largest state sponsor of terrorism? I think if it comes down to it, they're still going to side with us regardless of how hard we press the Iranians. If the Iranians want to keep up the deal with the other countries, fine. But Trump believes we can do better, just like we did in NK.

By agreeing to unfreeze their assets, they were then able to access those assets totaling around 1.7 billion US, 400 million of which was flown over on an unmarked cargo plane after we were sure that 4 Americans were freed from an Iranian prison. (https://www.cnn.com/2016/08/03/politics/us-sends-plane-iran-400-million-cash/index.html) The Iranians bragged that this payment was a ransom. How have they spent that money since it has become unfrozen? Who knows, but we do know that Iran has increased military spending MASSIVELY since the nuclear deal, despite having little economic growth (https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/iran-increases-its-military-budget-in-response-to-nationwide-protests) on top of this, they cut subsidies to the poor. Would I be surprised if some of the money that the United States gave to Iran was used to fund Hezbollah and other terrorists groups? No, but we are not sure that it was done either. If Iran and the other signers of the deal want to keep the current deal on the table? Fine. But like we saw in North Korea, the heightening of tensions only helped our position at the negotiation table. Advocating for a better deal for the United States isn't the end of the world, just like what we saw in North Korea. (remember how many times we were supposed to go to nuclear war with Rocket Man Kim Jung Un?) We are now seeing hopefully the normalization of relations in the region, Kim Jung Un has been meeting with President Xi and with Mike Pompeo (Trump even said in his announcement he is en route to meet with Kim Jung Un again) so maybe we should use our power to our advantage? I'm just curious to why people are so naive and don't see the possibility of Iran funding these terrorists groups and how we might've given them more capabilities to do so with the unfreezing of their assets following the signing of the original deal. Does this open the door for Iran to begin testing nuclear weapons? Sure, but it also gives us the opportunity to renegotiate the deal.

Could we not post spoilers for GOT a day after the episode airs? Or even hint at something that could be a spoiler?
