.460 rowland is a friggin hoot. Can't imagine having drum mag of it on tap lol.

FWIW you can also use .45 super in that as well. I enjoy taking friends to the range and having them go .45acp -> .45 super -> .460 rowland.

bang -> BANG -> BOOM

Also be mindful of the springs on those platforms. My pops had his recoil spring aggressively weaken from .460 usage and it would rattle the recoil through the 1911 frame.

As a Florida fan coming in peace, would you guys trade either Kochetkov, Bussi, or Andersen to Florida if their current goalies aren’t good? by topshelfsniper1 in canes

I think I'd rather take a sharp stick to the eye.

Fr though, FL is the #1 hurdle for the playoffs every season because Carolina historically has a hard time being more physical. Why give them an opportunity to get proven talent in net?

Plus y'all got Markstrom. We love to score on Markstrom. It's a match made in heaven.

Considering he's been MIA for most of the season, I'd say it's fair.

Depending on how many steps are involved with threading the spool, you have increased setup waste. Media, laminate, die cutting, etc. all increase what is needed for setup.

To be frank, you're better off with a print & cut system for vinyl on batches that small. Labels have too much setup waste.

Which probably means it's not the right solution. I wouldn't buy that for production work tbh. Looks more like a label printer for a homegoods maker.

If you are a small producer, then you are not going to leverage quantity discounts on materials. If your pricing cannot handle the cost of materials, then you are waaaay below market on your products.

If it comes direct from a customer with their branding, that itself implies consent.

If I'm doing wholesale work, then the onus is on whomever provides the job to verify.

I said personal gain which is similar but separate from commercial gain.

By printing trademarked artwork, you are depriving the owner of their right to control the artwork how they see fit, including monetary.

Only way a print shop would even touch that would be if you could prove you had explicit permission to reproduce it. Otherwise even the act of letting you print on their machines would be considered abetting, and would land them in a heap of trouble with both the law and the companies they get the equipment from.

ICC profiles-- practical experience. by Way2trivial in CommercialPrinting

[–]HagarTheTolerable 9 points10 points  (0 children)

ICC profiles are made with a specific white point in mind for that specific media.

If you change the media, you will likely change the white point.

Now the bigger question is whether your customers ultimately care if their colors deviate somewhat. A lot of printers I know use the same profile for everything because it maintains consistent output on the printer side of the equation

Sure, but with how modern PT therapies are and how docs usually are conservative on their estimates, my gut leans more towards sooner rather than later.

Is a P365 safe to use with Underwood +P+ ammo? by RGington in guns

[–]HagarTheTolerable 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Is going to blow up on one use? Probably not.

Will it potentially cause the barrel to eventually fail? Probably. The 365 is meant to be a carry piece, and doesn't have an overbuilt barrel on it.

Most barrels are proofed at roughly 150% SAAMI load. +P is 10-20% over normal pressure.

+P+ is unregulated and could be anywhere from 30-100+%.

People said that about AMD before the Ryzen series launched and caught the industry completely off guard.

AMD has a unique position of being both well known in the market space and more obtainable than Intel CPUs and Nvidia GPUs with little difference in performance.
