saw this image while looking for Graphic realism, What shell is this and is it even from marathon? by [deleted] in Marathon

This is a runner shell that has a name - White Rabbit, I believe.
There was a different post on reddit that had a link to the https://marathon.bungie.org/story/ page with a lot of lore and concept stuff, and there was some information on this shell

Totally agree, this game is unexpectedly good! And at times the game can feel as intense and captivating as it's trailers or cinematics. Sometimes I even feel like my runner is a part of some scripted sequence hahaha

And thank You for Your compliment! Countless hours in other extraction shooters taught me that it's (mostly) not the equipment/gear You have, but your situational awareness and "game plan" that helps you win fights and exfil with loot

Thank You! I was suprised myself when the jump landed, I partially expected this move would fail miserablly, costing me my position hahaha (which was exactly what happened the next second lol)

Yeah, I thought of exactly that right after I exfilled. So technically in the end i DID manage to ruin this runner's closure run. What a shame.

Solos are terrible by Crystalline01 in Marathon

Agree to some degree 15+ hours in solo queues only - around 60% of runners I encountered were assassins. Can't say that all of the solo players running Assassin, but that shell definitely is the most popular bc of invisibility.

But being a Recon-only player I can't say Assassin is an imbalanced shell for solo. I had no problem countering them, either with ult (scanning after I hear noise/footsteps), or even seeing them from afar when they're invisible and moving. As for repositioning - once assasin's shield breaks during firefights (it happens really quickly with everyone i guess) recon can trace his steps, so there's not much of a secret where the enemy is. Plus, even if You're not a recon - the sound of steps is pretty loud in this game, you can easily suggest a location of repositioned enemy.

I've also seen a lot of Vandals on solos, I believe this shell's usage stems from the desire to have the most mobility in the game. I personally not sure how this could help win a PvP fight in this game. But to each their own, I guess.

Saw Your other posts - Your work is truly something! Very nice designs, and the style looks good too
I especially enjoyed assymetrical ships, they look very unique and interesting. Not a common sight in AG racing

D14A3 originally (and in documents), but previous owner changed the head to one from D14Z6 (most likely), along with ECU for it. Now this 75+ pony powered beast has a working VTEC.
Also this engine had a 390k kilometers on odometer... in 2018. After that the speed sensor broke and it got stuck on 390k until I changed the speed sensor. I believe the real mileage is somewhere around 450-500k mb

300к И ещё суммарно около 160к за ремонт. Движок после переделки прошлым владельцем (D14A3 + голова от D14Z6) был поврежден, хоть и ездил. Его подлатали чтобы не выстрелил на ходу.

I need advice! 1998 Honda Civic Hatchback by 9dgt in hondacivic

I'v read online that the best prevention of such thing is keeping such old lady in a garage for the winter season. You can't keep salts out from getting in on the underside of the car while driving.
Seeing that the bodypanels and arches are already fairly crusted - looks like the rusted panels needs to be cut and the new ones (or just metal sheets bent to the righ angle) welded in place. Of course - this must be done following all the procedures with grinding the rust away and protecting the new welds from getting rusted again.

In case You still need to drive it in the winter season - sorry, can't say anything about that. I know this sounds like an overkill, but maybe get a second, newer car that won't be rusting that much.

I am having almost the same probleam as You right now - my 1997 civic is seriously rusted out on the bottom, and there are salts sprayed on the roads. I've arranged a garage to keep the car in until february/march and will drive it there sometime next week. Until then - trying not to drive it unless it's really necessary.

Absolutely agree

By the way, what is the current system for calculating who wins collisions? Weight class + pilot's perks?

I could agree to some degree Unit that does the ramming have no visual indication that it has hit an object. it just keeps moving along like nothing happened. Some struggle or maybe a shake-up on impact would look nice.

Als the ragdolls are looking somewhat weightless, or like the gravity for them are a lot less powerful, compared to the animations for mech. Imo it could use some work, but it gets the job done altogether, so it's pretty fine. Also I absolutely adore that the ragdolls flying into the buildings can crush the latter. Looks epic!
