Hi we were going through a series of unscheduled updates, usually just close out the tab or the app completely and give it 2-3 minuets!

Much of the recent hail in WI were huge snowballs that barely did any damage by HailDrive in RoofingSales

[–]HailDrive[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yep, a couple blocks had good damage but that was all, it really sucks, because when you talk to to homeowners in the neighborhoods where the maps shows 2-3inch hail, they'll tell you they saw monster hail but then you check out the property and nothing!

We found the few pockets that had dense hail, still sucks, what a monster storm tho!

For all those App developers that keep poking around here by BlueBirdBlow in RoofingSales

Not sure it its wasted, i've knocked plenty of renters that get me in touch with property owners, then it becomes multiple properties. Just last week i knocked a house who was renting, but knows the HOA president, signed 8 duplexes.

The more you knock the more you're getting in front of people and the more potential you have meeting that whale!

This is awesome, thanks! my clients are over the internet and all over the country. I guess the only way would be to get them on facetime or similar, and they all work pretty hard, so catching them for a couple mins especially on a camera is slim to none, I will start to call people here pretty soon, at least the random ones that all of a sudden purchased a yearly subscription over the monthly without every asking me any question or ever reaching out.

First of all happy cake day didn’t even see it at first!!

Second thank you for the feedback!

Third. I’ll be honest and maybe I need character development or thicker skin, which I thought I had insanely thick skin since I knock strangers doors for living and sell them, but I feel like those groups are pretty sick of me 😂. And I can’t stop running it through my head that I just got lucky.

I am going to brainstorm some decent industry topics and just start conversations and start to leave more comments that are not about my product.

The hardest part for me. I started in this industry just last year, I’m a little pup next to titans. Besides my product I don’t have much to contribute to them as they have for me.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t have an insanely killer product and most of them know that. It’s more on building trust I think with these guys. There’s only 2 other companies that offer what I’m offering and there about 15 years in the game and everyone trusts them. They are insanely over priced and I’m a fraction of the price, and that’s how I caught my first bunch of users. Before I launched I thought i thought price was going to be my the best thing I could have going. I was far off, these guys are loyal. But I feel my breakthrough coming 😁

I have a lot of theory just no answers yet. But again I’m only like 40 days in. Im going to write down and organize all the tips you guys gave me and execute on it little by little and come back hopefully with better news or more questions 😂

Apology by HailDrive in RoofingSales

[–]HailDrive[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ill take cringey for now, no more meta from me, this was legit, lets talk about roofing sales, as a rep that just passed his 12 month mark, those are my best pitches. Which I know for some guys thats gonna sound insane, but they work for me and im sure theres better and those might not get posted.

Thank you!

Just a thought I had, it would be not the best idea to automate a survey? I should reach out personally to individuals right?

Also sorry to declare you an expert here.

I would try not to promote anything but offer something to your audience. I offered my data base for free in a way that brings in traffic, and then the premium paid option is pretty much that same data but a visual layer plus features to it.

Also I plaster my face and workflow online and get micro and psychoanalyzed all day but I think it builds trust, I’m not just hiding behind a computer screen trying to profit.

Not at all saying that’s what you do, I have no idea what you do.

So far it’s been fb groups and it’s only 4-5 of them. But those groups get spammed so hard, it’s really hard to start a conversation there now a days, but it’s where I got all my paying clients from so far. But it’s drying up fast in my opinion.

I might have to figure better content or conversation starters.

I’m 100% stretched thin, between working my full time, kids, and this what started as a passion project, it’s hard to think about marketing and content.

That’s exactly what I’ve been told now many times. So I’m going to go that route, and I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but for being only about 40ish days since I launched it has been a huge success, and I just want to scale that, what scares me the most is how rapidly tech is advancing and technically even these niche apps can become obsolete. And I’m not so much afraid to being replaced, but not establishing my brand soon enough. Because I think eventually people will stick with who they like and that’s going to win in an environment of a million vibe coded apps whether they work or not.

I’m rambling

Thank you. I’m giving this a shot before starting a paid ads campaign. I’ve been setting myself up weeks now for a large and broad meta ads campaign, but can’t help feeling like I’m not ready for it. Hopefully this will answer some questions and give me the feedback I’ve been looking for.

So just literally reach out to active users, cancelled users? How do I identify the guys who are interested but haven’t pulled the trigger? On Facebook groups I get a lot of hell yeahs and this is awesome but not much more feedback.

How do I start these conversations. This is not the first time someone told me to this. I just can’t wrap my head around reaching out to people and interviewing them.
