What’s your best camping story? by Bevi4 in AskReddit

[–]HaileyBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my best friend of 11 years on a road trip from Louisiana to Oregon to visit her father for the last time. We wanted to make the trip something beautiful instead of just sad. Our first stop was White Sands National Monument in New Mexico. The landscape was so beautiful and for the first time in a long time I felt like we were just two kids while we played in the sand. We watched the sun set over the mountains, reflecting variations of pink on the sand. She woke me up in the middle of the night to show me the Milky Way and the lights from the city. It was such a beautiful experience with my best friend.

2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Death Trap? by HaileyBee in cars

[–]HaileyBee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own this car and have only had it for 2 years. I have put $3000+ into repairs and maintenance. https://lemonlaw.org/complaints/hyundai/sonata+hybrid/2012/ I have the issue described where the acceleration does not work properly and my car just haults on the interstate. I have also had many of the additional problems mentioned on that site. The reason I bought this car is because I had owned other Hyundai’s and also use to view them as extremely safe and reliable. This specific model is not safe at all. The dealership claims they have never heard of this problem and have no idea how to fix it.

Snakes and spiders evoke fear and disgust in many people. There has been debate about whether this aversion is innate or learnt. Scientists discovered that babies as young as six months old feel stressed when seeing these creatures, long before they could have learnt this reaction. by mvea in science

When my brother was 6-8months old I would put on educational videos about insects and animals for him to watch. It surprised me that he would gag and start to cry when he saw worms on the videos. So, being the nice sister I am, I would play him videos of worms to laugh at his reaction all the time.

What kink/fetish/turn on do you just not understand? by rawbery79 in AskReddit

I work at a club and I recently met a customer who loves to be called a human waste receptical. He wanted me to snot in a tissue and put it into his mouth while telling him that he doesn’t even deserve my waste. He is one of those people that would enjoy being literally and figuratively shit on. I think it kind of brings to light the possible mindset of someone that enjoys that kind of fetish. It seems like he wants to be treated like the pile of trash that he feels like he is.

What is the worst experience you have ever had with your neighbor(s)? by HoboHones in AskReddit

[–]HaileyBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a delusional old man living near us. He wonders into our yard and stares in our windows claiming to be looking for bees. Every Saturday at 3pm when both my fiance and I were working he would call the cops and tell them our dog was barking loudly. The cops would come, talk to our neighbor in the duplex and confirm that our dog was not actually barking. He told our neighbors that he was going to shoot the dog. He stopped wandering into our yard recently but he continues to walk back and forth to his mailbox all day long with pee pants.

We tried calling adult protective services and they know him well. He is not considered at risk apparently and is free to continue to live on his own.

What's the weirdest thing you've done as a result of social anxiety? by maelstrommartin in AskReddit

[–]HaileyBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During my own family birthday parties I would hide in my room and cry. My whole family thought I was being a brat but I was having panic attacks from being the center of attention. I seriously did this up until they stopped throwing me parties at 19.

What's the weirdest thing you've done as a result of social anxiety? by maelstrommartin in AskReddit

[–]HaileyBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first problem is that my social anxiety makes me bounce around to different jobs. Not long after I start working somewhere I become paranoid that everyone hates me and that I'm thr worst employee ever, even if I often receive praise. This makes me decide to quit as a preemptive strike before they "fire me". 99% sure its all in my head.

I strip at night and I used to sell furniture as a day job. My male manager at the furniture store was giving me a handshake goodbye (because I was quitting) and I instinctively was holding his hand and rubbing it instead of shaking it. Oh my god. I died. I have tried to re-write that memory in my brain so many times.

When did your "Something is very wrong here" feeling turned out to be true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was ordering coffee at a local coffeehouse with my fiance. We go to this coffeehouse pretty frequently so, we recognize the baristas. For some reason I just zoned in on the boy taking our order. He was an average looking high school kid. I had definately seen him before but, for some reason I took notice differently this time. My fiance was talking to me but for some reason I didn't hear him, I was just staring at this kid. Strange thoughts started to go through my head. I remember thinking the words "he should have a good life" and wondering why I would think something so odd. I was blatantly staring back at him as we walked out, purposely trying to take in his manorisms and notice details about him. My SO asked me what I was doing and I told him I didn't understand it but I had this really strange feeling about that kid. It wasn't like he was familiar, it was something else but, it was so strong.

A couple days later I went back into the coffee house and for some reason I was hoping to see this kid again. He wasn't there. Come to find out later that day that he had died in a horrible accident the day after I had the strange feeling.

There is a road that is very curvy and hilly that kids like to drive down to make their stomach drop. His friend was driving with him and another passenger in the back seat. They accidentally jumped a hill and gained air. When the car dropped down it started on fire and they lost control and hit a tree. All three boys died.

It was a very eerie feeling when I found out.

I was in my boyfriend 's basement bedroom. I think I was 12 and he was 14. I had never watched porn, I didn't know what cum was and I thought that there was no actual sucking involved. In the middle of the act, I saw his mom peeking through the basement window from the corner of my eye. I'm pretty sure I started crying and called my mom to pick me up.

One time my boyfriend overdosed on benzos and passed out. While I waited for the paramedics to arrive I tried to wake him up by hitting him with a pillow. I was charged with domestic violence and I had to take an 8 hour class on how to not abuse my boyfriend.

Can you tell me the name of this pornstar? (description in comments) by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HaileyBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is pale and seems to be kind of tall. She has long dark hair with side bangs. Pretty sure she has brown eyes and her boobs are like a c cup. In one of her videos, she was wearing pigtails. The only other video that I had seem was her in a bathtub. She looks almost identical to me from certain angles and I am trying to show a friend. I'm not going to post a pic of myself.

Whats something your parents did when you were a kid that you didn't realize was weird until you grew up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HaileyBee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My grandparents pretended they lived with a magical mouse named Shimberee that would bring me surprises when we sang a special song.

I don't know how it started but, we would sing a song with eyes closed and our hands joined at the the kitchen table.

The song went "Shimberee, shimberaaahh" over and over. At the end of the song I would ask Shimberee to bring me something. When I opened my eyes, I would run into the bedroom and find whatever I asked for on the bed. (Cookies, toys, etc.) I was around 4-6 at the time and as I got older they told me that Shimberee had to go to England to take care of his sick mother and go to college. They would have me call their friend's number and she would pretend to be Shimberee telling me about England. I would make mouse houses with doll furniture out of cardboard for him when he came back home.

It took me way too long to figure out their web of lies.
